　　I love my weekend.On Saturday, I go painting in the morning. The pictures are very beautiful. Then, I eat lunch at 12:00 at noon. In the afternoon, I usually go to the park, climb mountains or play with my friends. I can see beautiful flowers, green grass in the park. Wow! It’s very very happy times! In the evening, I do homework and watch TV. Sometimes I play computer games.On Sunday, I usually get up at 7:30 in the morning. I do homework after breakfast. I usually watch TV at 10:00. Then I play flute in the school. I go home at 2:50, play computer games and eat dinner. In the evening, I make my schoolbag. Tomorrow I have to go to school.They are my weekend. They are very happy and funny!

　　My Family My father is a teacher. He works during the day. My mother is a nurse. She works at night. They only see each other on the week- ends. My brothers, my sister and I don’t work. We are students. Because my parents have to work, we do the housework. But we never complain.

　　E-mailWhat is the difference between regular mails and e-mails?As we know, regular mails have been usded for thousands of years,it is very inconvenience,for it took a long time to receive. Besides, it costs you some money. While e-mails is very convenience, it take you only a few seconds to arrive the receiver and it is free to send .so more and more use e-mails rather than regular mails.Some people think that it will be replace the regular mails. In my opinion, the email will be more and more popular in the future, but it can not replace the regular mails because it can not send everything though it is very convenience to send letters.But,except letters,we sometimes want to sent other somes to our friends which e-mails is impossible to send. So we can draw an conclution that emails can not replace regular mails.People will use email to sent letter and use the regular to send other things.

　　The week long National Day holiday has witnessed some 90 million tourists travelling across the country, a record high since the first "Golden Week; holiday in 2000.

　　The mass movement brought 34.6 billion yuan (US$4.2 billion) worth of income to shops, restaurants, hotels, scenic spots and various businesses related to the tourist industry, which were hit hard by the outbreak of SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) earlier this year.

　　The tourist arrivals nationwide from October 1 to 7 jumped by 11.5 per cent over the same period last year, with their spending up 13.1 per cent, the National Tourism Administration announced Wednesday.

　　Air carriers have benefitted greatly from the travel boom, with 1.65 billion yuan (US$200 million) in volume reported during the week, up 29.9 per cent year on year. The railways also took a pleasing share with over 1 billion yuan (US$128 million) worth of fares, up 6 per cent.

　　The gain is also an all-time high since the State authority began to launch week long holidays, known as Golden Week, in the International Day of Labour in May and the National Day in October every year since 2000.

　　Figures from 136 major retailers in 31 key tourist cities across the country revealed that 2.96 billion yuan (US$357 million) in sales volume was generated during the Golden Week, up 18.9 per cent year on year.

　　As well, 140 restaurant enterprises reported 220 million yuan (US$26.5 million) worth of income, up 17.1 per cent, according to the administration.

　　This week has been an exciting journey of discovery for me! On Monday, our class embarked on a project where we had to research a foreign country. I chose Japan because Ive always been fascinated by its rich culture and technology. I spent hours online, learning about their traditional festivals like the Cherry Blossom Festival and their famous anime and manga industry. It was fascinating to see how a country can blend ancient traditions with modern advancements.

　　Tuesday, we had a class presentation where each student shared their findings. When it was my turn, I showed my classmates a video of a traditional tea ceremony and explained the significance of it in Japanese culture. They were all so engaged and asked many questions, which made me feel proud of my research.

　　Wednesday was a bit more laid back as we had a science experiment on the school lawn. We learned about the water cycle by planting seeds in small pots and observing how water helped them grow. It was amazing to see the seeds sprouting just within a day!

　　Thursday brought a fun sports day, where we participated in relay races, tug-of-war, and even a three-legged race. My team and I worked hard and managed to win the relay race, which was super exciting! Teamwork really makes the dream work.

　　Friday, as the week drew to a close, we had a language arts class focused on writing creative stories. I wrote a short story about a young girl who discovers a magical book that takes her on adventures to different lands, inspired by my research on Japan. My teacher praised my imagination and encouraged me to keep writing.

　　Overall, its been a week filled with learning, fun, and new experiences. I cant wait to see what adventures the next week brings!

　　This past week, Ive been focusing on gratitude and expressing it to those around me. It all started on Monday morning when I woke up feeling particularly thankful for my family and all they do for me. I made a mental list of things I was grateful for and decided to share them with them over breakfast. They smiled and hugged me, which made me feel even more grateful.

　　Throughout the week, I made an effort to thank my teachers and classmates for their help and kindness. 　　On Thursday, I wrote a letter to my grandparents, thanking them for their guidance and love over the years. I shared stories of my week and how much I appreciate everything theyve taught me. They replied with a heartfelt letter of their own, which I read over and over again, feeling grateful for our strong bond.

　　As the week came to an end on Friday, I reflected on all the gratitude I had expressed and received. It was a reminder that happiness often comes from being thankful and showing appreciation to those around us. Ive decided to make gratitude a daily practice, not just for one week but for the rest of my life.

　　This week has been a beautiful reminder of the power of gratitude and how it can bring joy and connection to our lives.
