1.教材分析
本單元以Theme parks為話題，旨在通過(guò)本單元的教學(xué)，使學(xué)生了解分散于世界各地的各種各樣的主題公園，學(xué)會(huì)向別人介紹某個(gè)景點(diǎn)的大體情況，以及計(jì)劃各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)，同時(shí)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)世界及生活的熱愛(ài)。
1.1 Warming up通過(guò)向?qū)W生呈現(xiàn)四個(gè)風(fēng)格各異的世界著名主題公園，激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)本單元的興趣。
1.2 Pre-reading通過(guò)學(xué)生對(duì)主題公園里活動(dòng)的想象，交流了解主題公園的有關(guān)知識(shí)。
1.3 Reading通過(guò)介紹世界各地形式各異的主題公園概況，使學(xué)生了解風(fēng)格迥異的各國(guó)主題公園。
1.4 Comprehending讓學(xué)生從文章的標(biāo)題及各段大意來(lái)整體理解課文。

Discovering useful structures是通過(guò)填表格的練習(xí)方式向?qū)W生呈現(xiàn)英語(yǔ)詞匯不同的構(gòu)詞法（合成及派生）。
1.6 Using Language分為四個(gè)部分練習(xí)聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫。
1) Listening練習(xí)聽(tīng)力可配合Listening on P69 in Workbook及Listening Task on P73進(jìn)行。
2）Reading and speaking這是一篇泛讀文章，介紹更新奇的主題公園（觀察未來(lái)）。然后讓學(xué)生練習(xí)朗讀課文的第二段，注意個(gè)別特殊的發(fā)音方式。接著把（觀察未來(lái)）公園的各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)性質(zhì)歸類及解釋理由。然后根據(jù)自己對(duì)文章的理解為該主題公園繪制一張地圖。最后分別說(shuō)出（觀察未來(lái)）主題公園會(huì)讓你體驗(yàn)到的三種時(shí)間及空間的.經(jīng)歷。
3）Writing要求介紹某一主題公園的概況，包括種類，方位，各活動(dòng)項(xiàng)目及門票收費(fèi)。
4）Speaking根據(jù)所準(zhǔn)備的公園概況介紹寫一段
對(duì)話，作為導(dǎo)游回答一位正在游覽公園的朋友對(duì)公園情況的一些詢問(wèn)。
2.教材重組
2.1因本教材重點(diǎn)強(qiáng)調(diào)的是閱讀能力，故將Warming-up, Reading, Comprehending合在一起設(shè)計(jì)成一節(jié)“精讀課”。
2.2 Learning about Language, Using Structures和Workbook中的Using words and expressions, Using structures合在一起,設(shè)計(jì)成一節(jié)“語(yǔ)法課”（既有詞匯又有語(yǔ)法）。
2.3將Using Language中的Listening, Workbook中的Listening和Listening task整合成一節(jié)“聽(tīng)力課”。
