【背景知識】
▲ 國際奧比斯組織
國際奧比斯組織 (Prect Orbis -- ORBIS) 是一個致力于為世界各國盲人和眼疾患者恢復光明的國際性慈善機構，它的宗旨是“使全球失明者重見光明”。
這個組織的國際奧比斯眼科飛行醫院是世界第一所飛機眼科醫院。該院于1982年3月在美國休思敦正式建立，它是由一架DC—8型飛機改裝而成，內部設有預檢室、檢查室、微型手術室、護理室等手術設備，既可施行手術又可從事示范教學、并通過雙向通訊設備，直接與示范醫生進行問答。奧比斯組織總部設在紐約。在休斯敦、倫敦、加拿大和香港設有辦事處，并配備了從美國及其他地區選出的一批擁有高級技術的醫生、護士、工程師、機師、影視制作人員等為隨機人員。
自1982年成立以來，來自29個國家的600多位世界一流的眼科專家，先后訪問了四大洲70多個國家和地區，使２萬名眼疾患者在專機上進行手術治療，使他們重見光明，并有３萬多名各國眼科醫生、護士參與了它的訓練計劃，使之成為推行防盲、治盲的骨干。
國際奧比斯組織（ORBIS）是一個中立的、非盈利的國際人道主義發展組織。迄今為止，已環繞地球四次，在八十余個國家完成了超過500項防盲治盲醫療活動，將最新的防盲技術傳授給五萬多名眼科醫生和護士。
此部分以采訪的形式向學生介紹了奧比斯醫生的工作。學生能進一步學習采訪記錄這一文體，同時也能了解慈善組織奧比斯的`工作。
