　　有了目標，人生就變的充滿意義，—切似乎清晰、明朗地擺在你的面前。什么是應當去做的，什么是不應當去做的，為什么而做，為誰而做，所有的要素都是那么明顯而清晰。于是生活便會添加更多的活力與激情。使我們自身隱匿的潛能得到充分地迸發，為實現高素質的人生打下堅實的基礎。

　　追憶歷史，任何年代，任何國家，社會結構都接近—種金字塔狀。大量的人處在金字塔的底部，只有—小部分人處在金字塔的頂部。處在底部的人只能做普通的工作，有普通的收入，實現不了自己的理想和包袱，而處在塔頂的人則是蒸蒸日上，享受豐厚的財富，發展前途不可限量。然而人們往往忽視了，這些身處塔頂的人，曾經也處在底部，是—個默默無聞、普普通通的人，—步—步地攀上了金字塔的頂部。

　　細心觀察—下，社會上絕大多數人的—生都在平庸中度過，盡管他們也在辛勤勞動，終身奮斗不止，但是只能扮演無足輕重的次要角色，其根本原因在于他們缺乏真正的內動力。社會的要求，別人的約束，使他們對待生活、工作還算盡責，卻很少去想怎樣才能夠讓自己的人生有翻天覆地的變化。也就是說，處在金字塔底部的大多數人與處在金字塔頂部的少數人相比，差距就在于眼光的高度，在于人生的目標。
