到了年三十的除夕之夜，各家各戶都會(huì)在子時(shí)一到時(shí)，爭搶第一個(gè)點(diǎn)放鞭炮：我們當(dāng)?shù)亟小按蝾^炮”。而到了年初一的早上，打開門的第一件事也是放一串鞭炮，這就叫開門紅。我們客家人把年初三稱為“窮鬼日”，那天，把堆積的穢物徹底干凈地清掃出去，叫“送窮鬼”。
到了正月初四。做生意的.則一早起來就掃地，自外朝里掃，表示要把財(cái)掃進(jìn);農(nóng)民說這一天要吃蒜和豬腸，說吃了豬腸、蒜，新年做起事來“長長有和算”。
這就是我們客家人的過春節(jié)風(fēng)俗。
