　　A diary of My Birthday

　　Today is my nine-year-old birthday. I am very happy, because my father buys a big cake for me and my sister just comes to Guangzhou . After dinner , my family celebrate my birthday . I make a wish and blow out the candles . Do you want to know my wish ? Let me tell you , I wish I can study harder and harder ,then get the NO.1 in our class. Then I cut the cake and my family share the cake with me . How nice today!!!

　　從接觸英語開始，我就一直”沉浸”在背英語單詞中不能自拔，然而效果總是那么小，我的英語成績始終在及格線左右徘徊，一不小就不及格了，為了英語，爸爸媽媽也不止教導我一次了，他們總是督促我背英語，整天整天的背。

　　這不剛寫完作業，媽媽就開始給我提問英語單詞了，我皺著眉頭，左思右想，也僅僅答對了幾個，當然少不了一頓批評，哎，還要接著背單詞。

　　直到有一天，我突然發現有好多單詞有相似的拼寫，我把它們放在一起，很快就能掌握他們的意思，我像發現了新大陸一樣，把這件事告訴了媽媽，媽媽說只要背會就行，這讓我有點泄氣，還以為她會表揚我一番。不過我發現我掌握單詞的速度還有準確率有著明顯的提高，媽媽也發現了我的.進步，這讓我得意了好久。哼，可惡的英語，我也找到了你的破綻。

　　我用著自己的方法去學習英語，每次考試成績都會上一個臺階，看來英語也并沒有那么難學啊。

　　My name is Li Hua。 I was born in Dalian， Liaoning province in February 1977。 I started school in 1984 when I was seven。 I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990。 After that I went to No。62 Middle School of Dalian and graduated this summer。 The main subjects I studied at school included Chinese， maths， English， physics， chemistry and computer。 I like English and computer best and I am very good at them。 Last year I won first prize in the school computer competition。 In my spare time I enjoy listening to popular music and collecting stamps。 My favorite sports are swimming in summer and skating in winter。

　　(glutinous rice wrapped up in reed（蘆葦）leaves), another popular delicacy.

　　in the north, steamed-wheat bread (man tou) and small meat dumplings were the preferred food. the tremendous amount of food

　　prepared at this time was meant to symbolize abundance and wealth for the household.

When we almost finished eating, I suddenly saw a familiar face——our foreign teacher Nick. A girl was sitting beside him. They were talking over lunch. I at once told my friends Sandy and Jenny about it. We were so excited. I slowed my speed of eating to wait for that girl. At the moment, they finished their lunch and walked by us with the smile on their faces. Nick seemed so different from how he looked in the class. I guess that is the power of love. Hope they will enjoy everyday when they get together. So romantic!
