　　Keeping a diary in English is one of the effective ways to improve our English writing ability. Compared with other forms of writing， it is shorter and takes less time. 　　In keeping a diary in English， we inevitably run up against a lot of difficulties. In the first place， it often happens that we have trouble finding appropriate words and phrases to give expression to our mind. Secondly， there are many idiomatic ways of saying things in Chinese. 　　老師又帶我們到了蔬菜區，老師讓我們每人挑一樣蔬菜。我挑了一個西紅柿。又一陣嘰哩呱啦的討論后我們就要開始搶答了。這一次搶答，我只拿到了3分，不過這也算最好的成績了。

　　搶答完蔬菜，我們又去搶答零食。看到那么多好吃的零食，我的口水都快要流下來了，但我還是忍了回去。

　　最后我得了13分，沒有拿到最高分。最高分是15分，然后是14分。拿到這兩個分數的同學都得到了老師給的冰淇淋。雖然沒得到老師的獎賞，但我媽媽仍然給我買了一袋薯片解饞。吃著薯片，我很開心！
