最近我看了海明威寫的《老人與海》這本書。海明威是美國著名小說家，曾獲得諾貝爾文學獎。他被譽為“美利堅民族的精神豐碑，并且是“新聞體”小說的創始人，他的筆鋒一向以“文壇硬漢”著稱。海明威的寫作風格以簡潔著稱，對美國文學及2世紀文學的發展有極深遠的影響。這本書給我啟發很深。

這本書說了一個這樣的故事：古巴有一位老漁夫名叫圣地亞哥，有一次他連續84天都沒有打到一條魚。于是他堅持不懈，終于釣到了一大馬林魚，綁在自己的小船邊。在回港的路途中，遇到了無數次鯊魚，他用了一切辦法去反擊。最后，在到港以后，那只大馬林魚就剩下一條脊骨了。雖然只剩下一條脊骨，這種精神也無法摧毀他英勇的意志。
