選擇住在郊區(qū)還是城市? Living in the Suburbs or City
Nowadays, most people, especially college graduates choose to work andlive in city. They have already used to the city’s lifestyle; they think it’smore convenient to work and live in city. However, for me, I prefer to live inthe suburbs, I have three reasons to support my view.
如今,大多數(shù)人,尤其是大學(xué)畢業(yè)生選擇在城市工作和生活。因?yàn)樗麄円呀?jīng)習(xí)慣了城市的生活方式,他們認(rèn)為在城市更方便。然而,對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō),我喜歡住在郊區(qū),我有三個(gè)理由來(lái)支持我的觀點(diǎn)。
Firstly, we can enjoy fresh air in the suburbs. With the rapid developmentof industry, the city's quality of life become worse and worse，people's physical andmental health is threatened. Suburb has not so many people and cars, has not somany pollution, so living in the suburbs is good for people's physical andmental health.
首先, 郊區(qū)有新鮮的空氣。工業(yè)的快速發(fā)展,使城市的生活質(zhì)量變得越來(lái)越差,人們的身心健康受到威脅。郊區(qū)沒(méi)有那么多人和車,沒(méi)有那么多污染,所以住在郊區(qū)更有益于人們的身心健康。
Secondly, the house price is cheaper in the suburbs. The same money canbuy or rent larger and more comfortable house in the suburb area than in city.As we all know, the city’s house prices are expensive, many people are notaffordable for the high house prices in city.
其次, 郊區(qū)的房子的價(jià)格相對(duì)城市更便宜。同樣的錢(qián)在郊區(qū)比在城市可以買(mǎi)或租更大更舒適的房子。正如我們所知道的,城市的房子的價(jià)格是昂貴到很多人特別是年輕人都無(wú)法承受。
Last but not least, the suburbs are not busy; people don't have to endurea traffic jam in here. When we go to work in morning and go off work inafternoon, we have to endure all kinds of serious traffic problems, such aselectric vehicles drive illegally and too much cars crowed on road.
最后, 郊區(qū)的交通通暢。在市區(qū)的話,當(dāng)我們上下班的時(shí)候,不得不忍受各種各樣的嚴(yán)重的交通問(wèn)題,如電動(dòng)車非法行駛,還有太多的堵車的各種交通問(wèn)題。而在郊區(qū),我們就不用忍受那些問(wèn)題,郊區(qū)車少道路寬廣。
In a word, I think living in the suburbs have so many advantages. Live andwork in suburbs is more comfortable, it also is good for our physical and metallife. We shall choose a lifestyle which is suitable for us, not just followingothers blindly.
總之,我認(rèn)為住在郊區(qū)有很多優(yōu)勢(shì)。在郊區(qū)生活和工作更舒適,它也有利于我們的身心發(fā)展。我們都應(yīng)該選擇適合自己的一種生活方式,而不是盲目跟從他人的選擇。
提高大學(xué)生出勤率 Increase Attendence Rate in College
Low attendance rate has been a big problem among colleges and universities. To avoid this problem and finish their teaching tasks, different teachers come up with various methods.There are two common methods as following.
在高校中低出勤率一直是一個(gè)大問(wèn)題。為了避免這個(gè)問(wèn)題，完成教學(xué)任務(wù)，不同的教師想出了不同的方法。以下是兩種常見(jiàn)的方法。
Themost common-used method is to call over. Teachers call over each class or afteran interval of one or two classes and write down the names of the absentstudents. And usually, if someone’s name is written down more than three times,they will lose their qualification in taking part in the final exam of thisclass, which means they need to repeat the class next time. Another methodusually used in smaller classes is to ask questions at random. Teachers willask some students to answer the questions to check if they attend the class.
最常用的方法是點(diǎn)名。每節(jié)課老師都點(diǎn)名或者在一節(jié)課和兩節(jié)課之間的間隔中點(diǎn)名，然后寫(xiě)下缺席的學(xué)生的名字。通常，如果有人的名字被登記超過(guò)三次，他們就不能參加這門(mén)課程的期末考試，這就意味著他們需要重修這門(mén)課。另一個(gè)在小班中常用的方法是隨機(jī)提問(wèn)問(wèn)題。老師會(huì)叫一些學(xué)生來(lái)回答問(wèn)題來(lái)檢查他們是否有來(lái)上課。
However,even though these methods force students to attend the classes and increase theattendance rate to some extent, it doesn't solve the problem throughout. In myopinion, the most important point is that teacher should improve their teachingskills, break through traditional teaching model and try to make their classesmore active and interesting so that students will attend the classes of their ownaccord. Meantime, students should try to improve their self-discipline abilityand learn to appreciate the advantages of their teachers.
然而，盡管這些方法可以強(qiáng)迫學(xué)生去上課而且出勤率在某種程度上也有所增長(zhǎng)，但這并不能徹底地解決問(wèn)題。我覺(jué)得最重要的一點(diǎn)是教師要提高他們的教學(xué)技能，突破傳統(tǒng)的教學(xué)模式，來(lái)使他們的課變得更生動(dòng)有趣，這樣學(xué)生們才會(huì)主動(dòng)去上課。同時(shí)，學(xué)生應(yīng)該努力提高自己的自律能力并學(xué)會(huì)欣賞他們老師的優(yōu)點(diǎn)。
去影院看電影的益處The Benefits of Watching Movies in Cinema
With the rapid development of technique, there are many ways for people to watch movies. Some people choose to watch movie in cinema, some choose to watch at home. Different people have different choices. As for me, I prefer to watch movie in cinema, because there are so many benefits.
隨著科技的快速發(fā)展,人們對(duì)看電影的方式有很多種。有些人選擇看電影在電影院,有些人選擇在家里看。不同的人有不同的選擇。至于我,我喜歡看電影在電影院,因?yàn)橛泻芏嗟暮锰帯?/p>
Firstly, watching movie in cinema makes people feel comfortable. Especially when you finish your all day work, it’s a perfect choice to watch movie in cinema. As we all know, cinema is a huge space, people can relax in theater. Also, you can focus on movie because the screen is enough huge and the sound is enough clear. What’s more, theater is always clean, it make people feel like watching movies at home.
首先,在電影院看電影讓人感覺(jué)舒適。尤其是當(dāng)你完成你的一整天的工作,去電影院看場(chǎng)電影無(wú)疑是一個(gè)完美的選擇。我們都知道,電影院是一個(gè)巨大的空間, 在那里人們可以完全放松自己。同樣,在電影院你可以專注于電影,因?yàn)槠聊蛔銐蚓薮螅曇粢沧銐蚯逦８匾氖?電影院環(huán)境整潔,讓你感覺(jué)如在家里一般。
Secondly, theater is a good choice for couples. Most young people like to go to theater to watch movies, because they think it’s better to cultivate relationship in big theater. The atmosphere of the cinema is more suitable for lovers. People's state of mind will change with the ups and downs of film. So, most young people will choose to watch love story in cinema.
其次,對(duì)于情侶來(lái)說(shuō)，電影院是一個(gè)很好的選擇。大多數(shù)年輕人喜歡去劇院看電影,因?yàn)樗麄冋J(rèn)為在電影院可以更好地培養(yǎng)感情。而且，電影院的氛圍很適合情侶，人的精神狀態(tài)會(huì)隨著電影跌宕起伏。所以,大多數(shù)年輕人會(huì)選擇在電影院觀看愛(ài)情電影。
Thirdly, it’s very easy to get a ticket. We don’t need to waste much time for waiting in line. Nowadays, we have many ways to buy cinema tickets. The most typical way is to buy on the internet. Everything can be completed on the computer; all we need to do is to click the mouse. Science and technology make our life become very convenient. Besides, a movie ticket is not expensive, many people are affordable. Sacrifice a little money to buy comfortable experience, why not does it? The fast pace of life need to unzip the agent, and the cinema is good way to relax.
第三,買(mǎi)票很便捷。我們不需要浪費(fèi)很多時(shí)間去排隊(duì)。現(xiàn)在,我們有許多方法來(lái)購(gòu)買(mǎi)電影票。最快捷的方式是在網(wǎng)上購(gòu)買(mǎi)，一切都可以在電腦上完成,我們所需要做的就是點(diǎn)擊鼠標(biāo)。科學(xué)和技術(shù)使我們的生活變得非常方便。此外,電影票并不昂貴,許多人都負(fù)擔(dān)得起。犧牲一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)錢(qián)買(mǎi)舒適的體驗(yàn),何樂(lè)而不為呢?快節(jié)奏的生活需要解壓劑,而去影院看電影是很好的放松方式。
In conclusion, there’re so many benefits when we choose to go to the theater to watch movies. In today, life is wonderful, so we should find a more funny way to live. Let our life full of fun.
總之, 選擇去電影院看電影有很多好處。今天的生活是美好的,所以我們應(yīng)該找到一個(gè)更有趣的生活方式。讓我們的生活充滿樂(lè)趣。
玩電腦游戲的弊端The Disadvantages of Playing Computer Games
Nowadays childrenare spending far too much time and money on computer games. As a result, somepeople even suggest that video games should be done away with. They are nothingbut a great waste of time, money and energy. I totally agree with them.
如今孩子們花過(guò)多的金錢(qián)和時(shí)間在電腦游戲上。結(jié)果，一些人甚至建議說(shuō)電子游戲應(yīng)該廢除。它們只不過(guò)是大量消耗時(shí)間、金錢(qián)和精力的東西。我完全同意他們的說(shuō)法。
First of all, toomuch indulgence in the computer games may lead to the deterioration ofchildren’s physical health. Children desert the football ground as they all sitat home around the computers playing the football game. So they can’t bephysically fit and strong. Moreover, facing the computer for a long time, childreneasily suffer from myopia.
首先，過(guò)多沉溺于電腦游戲會(huì)導(dǎo)致孩子們身體健康狀況的下降。孩子們?nèi)即粼诩依铮陔娔X旁邊，玩足球游戲，而荒廢了足球場(chǎng)。所以他們不會(huì)身體強(qiáng)健。而且，長(zhǎng)時(shí)間對(duì)著電腦，孩子們很容易近視。
Secondly,computer games distract children’s attention from their studies. They finishtheir homework in a hurry, or even copy their classmate’s, in order to squeezetime to play games.
其次，電腦游戲分散孩子們的學(xué)習(xí)注意力。他們匆匆趕完作業(yè)，甚至抄襲同學(xué)的作業(yè)，為了擠出時(shí)間來(lái)玩游戲。
Therefore, videoarcades should be banned from cities and town. Teenagers would be much betteroff without the temptation of video games. They should be encouraged to do moremeaningful and valuable things like reading, studying, and going to concert andmuseums.
因此，游戲廳應(yīng)該在城市和鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)中禁止。沒(méi)有電子游戲的誘惑，青少年會(huì)過(guò)得好得多。他們應(yīng)該被鼓勵(lì)做些更有意義和價(jià)值的事情，如讀書(shū)、學(xué)習(xí)、去聽(tīng)音樂(lè)會(huì)或逛博物館。
多數(shù)人的智慧還是少數(shù)人的智慧Majority’s Wisdom or Minority’s Wisdom
There is an old saying that two heads are better than one, which suggests that the majority’s collective wisdom always dwarfs that of the minority, let alone any individual. There are people who believe that for a society to cohere there must be a strong consensus as well as unity and discipline. Therefore we must not overemphasize the importance of critical thinking which is abound to result in confusion and quarrels.
有句老話說(shuō)，三個(gè)臭皮匠，勝過(guò)一個(gè)諸葛亮，這表明大多數(shù)人的集體智慧總是使少數(shù)人的智慧相形見(jiàn)絀，更何況平常人。人們相信一個(gè)社會(huì)凝聚起來(lái)必須有很強(qiáng)的共識(shí)，以及團(tuán)結(jié)和有紀(jì)律。因此我們不能過(guò)分強(qiáng)調(diào)批判性思維的重要性，這必然會(huì)導(dǎo)致混亂和爭(zhēng)吵。
But I don’t agree with this. First, I have no respect for majority’s wisdom. I believe that most people do not usually use their heads, they are also lack of creativity, and therefore are ignorant and prejudiced and often become mobs and stampede easily. Second, anyone who has the creativity will have an important impact on our society. But their wisdom is usually different from the majority’s.
但我不同意這一點(diǎn)。第一，我不尊重多數(shù)人的智慧。我相信大多數(shù)人通常不用他們的頭腦，而且也缺乏創(chuàng)造力，因此是無(wú)知有偏見(jiàn)的，這往往容易成為暴徒和踩踏。第二，任何有創(chuàng)造力的人都會(huì)對(duì)我們的社會(huì)產(chǎn)生重要的影響，但他們的智慧通常不同于大多數(shù)人的。
In a word, everything has two sides. What’s more important is that to learn knowledge from different kinds of wisdom and to improve our ability.
總之任何事物都有兩面性，最重要的是，要從各種智慧中學(xué)到知識(shí)，提高自己的能力。
你生命中的最后十年 The Last Ten Years in Your Life
Have you ever image what would it be of thelast ten years in your life? Some people are every healthy and enjoy theirgrandchildren; someone is terribly sick and has been taken care by family.There is no avoiding that everyone is weaker when they are getting old, tissuesage and organs fail. But we could still chose to stay a hale body when we areold, as long as we start a healthy life by now.

Itis not astonished to see that the young people don’t take care of their body.Not because they don’t want to, but because they have been busy on otherthings. For example, teenagers are overloaded, the homework took them a lot oftime, and hence they don’t have too much time to do exercise. And the workershave too much work to do, so that they miss the normal mealtimes, and evenworse, they have to work overtime and stayed all night. The damages caused forbody as is well-known.

If you don’t take your body seriously, it willmake you suffered terribly in the last ten years of your life.

Ina word, if you want to enjoy a happy time with your family in the last tenyears, then develop a healthy lifestyle by now, otherwise, you would besurrounded by your family in your sickbed. It is your choice.
一句話，如果你想在最后十年和你的家人有段快樂(lè)時(shí)光，那么現(xiàn)在就要養(yǎng)成健康的生活習(xí)慣，不然，你就會(huì)被你的家人圍在病床上。這是你的選擇。
