　　I went to the supermarket the other day with 10 yuan. I was a bit hungry, so I decided to buy a small pack of cookies which cost me 4 yuan. After I ate them, I was still hungry, so I decided to buy a small bag of potato chips which cost me another 3 yuan.

　　After I ate them both, I was no longer hungry. However, I was very thirsty and wanted to buy a large bottle of milk to drink, but I didn’t have enough money left because even a small box of milk would cost me 2 yuan and I needed 2 yuan to pay the bus fare.

　　this term, i took a course which introduced chinese culture in english. in my eyes, my teacher mr. tang is a person who attaches importance to practice and emphasizes “happy learning”,because he spent a large class of time taking us to visit xiangji temple which most of chinese teachers may not do so. what a wonderful tour it was!

　　that morning at 7:20,three friends and i met at the station near school gate.but we cannot wait till the bus,so we decided to take a taxi.the temperature of that morning was a little low and the wind was cool that indicated the alternation between autumn and winter.when we hadn’t walked into temper,we heard something liked the sound of firecrackers which was awesome.in fact,there were a group of old men playing the gyroscope.with the warm sunshine,mr. tang began to tell us some knowledge about xiangji temper.then we learnt that xiangji temper is the ancestor court of jingtu school(pure land school)of the chinese buddhism and it was first built in the yonglong’s 2rd year of the tang emperor gaozong(681ad),by monk huaiyun for the burial and worship of master shandao patriarch of jingtu sect.i saw a lot of pilgrims to burn incense with pious wishes.in addition,a maid who has been worked there for eight years told me that the monks in xiangji temper aren’t fixed to stay there.she also expressed that working in the temper let her become peace.as the result of the prosperous incense and candle,the temper is expanding.fortunately for me,i met an architect who isn’t a follower of buddhism.in his view,buddhism
