This summer, i had some special days. i joined dongzhou international educational exchange summer camp.
first, i will tell you about our foreign teachers, they are shrina and rebecca. they are friendly and beautiful. they are students at oxford university.
we talked about many things: famous people, subjects in england, different jobs, our deal days, western star signs, what can we say in a restaurant and so on.
we know lots of things, like what the difference is between “chef” and “cook”, all the parts of the body…
we tried to write a letter to principal zhang. we made a play and we drew our own comics and tried to sell it. we gave some other students english lessons, we taught them about chinese dragon, chinese martial arts and the olympics.
every afternoon, we played exciting games: chinese whispers, tongue twisters, wheelbarrow, egg and spoon, three legs…
on the last day, we had a good time. we made black tea. we put tea bags, some milk and lots of water in to a big bowl, and then we stirred the tea until it became red and dark. oh, it tasted good! later, we used eggs, flour and milk to make many pancakes. to cook them is very interesting. when we finished it, the pancakes looked round and nice. we put some jam on it. how delicious! i won’t ever forget it.
the summer camp is a really good chance for me. i know the local things in england. i learned a lot and like english more. i also know better ways to learn english well.
i hope one day i can see you in england.

I am so happy that I can go to the HuaMei Oxford Summer Camp this summer vacation. At the first day, I went to HuaMei School very early. I made many new friends here and we are getting along with each other very well.
Riohard is our teacher. He teaches us history. In his class, I have studied many new words and the history aboutBritain. In Mattew’s class, I have learned many different kinds of food and their recipe. In Clair’s class, I know there are many holidays in Western Countries, such as Groundhog Day、Carnival、Halloween and so on. In Rob’s class, I have learned many activities that we can do in the spare time.
At the evening, we play lots of games, such as Fancy Dress、Treasure Hunt、Murder Mystery、Joyful Campfire Evening. The life here is colorful and wonderful.
I am very happy in this Summer Camp. I like this summer camp because I can learn many new words and improve my English. What a wonderful Summer Camp.

National English Summer Camp for Middle School Students
As a lucky student, I attended the 1998 NESCMSS held in the beautiful seaside city of Yantai from July 25 to 30, which was sponsored by the English Coaching Paper Office. Over 100 students all over the country and 30 English teaching experts from home and abroad took part in the activity. All the campers were required to speak English. During the four days, a series of English activities were held including the Second National English Debate for Middle School Students and the Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students. We also visited some places of interest. A colourful English evening was held on July 29. The camp provided us with a valuable opportunity to speak English, make friends and exchange learning experience. I found my English much improved at the end of the camp. Never in my life shall I forget the impressive days in Yantai.

Now we are enjoying Huamei English summer Camp of 2010 during the hot summer. We like this camp because it’s very beautiful and there are lots of kind teachers here. Especially we have a lot of fun.
We have different kind of classes in this camp, such as Happy English Classes, Cambridge English & Olympic Math Classes and Foreign Teachers’ Classes. We really enjoy the study of English and maths here.
And we also have variety of interesting activities. Every afternoon we have two hours of activity classes or training classes. We have great fun during these classes.
At this camp, besides study we also enjoy some other activities. We can watch movie, buy snacks in the English shop with the dollar given by teachers as prizes, do English dancing, sing English songs, take part in the English Café and some other parties. They are so wonderful and great!
This is really an amazing summer camp!

Hua Mei Oxford Summer Camp is an interesting summer camp. I met many new friends here and studied together happily. The life in the Summer Camp is colourful and unforgetable.
Richard is our teacher and he teaches us the history about Britain. From his class, we have learned many knowledges, such as King Henry has six wifes, a fire happened in 1666 and so so. Clair is another teacher . She is very lovely and patient. I lcve her very much. And Mattew、Robert, they are all good teachers. They teach us so many things. When I see them, I feel happy.
Everyday, we have wonderful and diversity party at night. At the party, we can learn more sentences. I think it’s so good.
In the Summer Camp, we study English、play with other pupils and communicate with teachers. I enjoy for everything about this Summer Camp. I hope I can go to HuaMei Summer Camo next year.

In August this year, I went to the English Camp for two weeks. It was held in Yantai, England, by the lighthouse in Shandong. There are more than 1100 English teaching experts from all over the country and 30 of them participating in this exciting camp school.
Although we are there, it requires us to speak only English teachers and with each other. Among them, there are interesting, helps us to strengthen our spoken English skills, for example, many activities, the second national high school students debate, the third National English speech contest for middle school students in english. We also visited a lot of interesting places. Learning English is exciting and the teachers are very friendly and helpful. This camp is a real life changing experience, and Ill never forget it.

first we pitched the tent. then our older brothers and older sisters played game with us. at noon, we all had a delicious lunch followed by a barbecue for dinner. at night, we had bonfire and sang and danced. we didn’t sleep until 10:20 at night. but some of the boys were so noisy we couldn＇t fall alseep. i only slept for three hours. the next morning, everybody woke up very early. after exercising in the morning, we all went to see the small pigs. on the way there, we saw a lot of geese. at 10:00, we went back to eat ice cream. it was so cold. then, we all played games together. we ate lunch at 12:00. in the afternoon, we played musical instruments and sang. after that, camp was over.
we had a lot of fun at the summer camp. i am looking forward o going to another summer camp soon.

This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city, Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.
While we were there, it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills, such as, the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Students,the Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. We also visited many places of interest.
Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

I prefer to go in July because Ill have to prepare myself for the new school term in August. It seems all the activities you offer are attractive and meaningful. But Id like to attend the English lectures from which I can get more information on British and American culture. Nice to hear from you again. Im glad to tell you something about the National English Summer Camp for Secondary School Students we had.
It was held in Nanjing City in the later July and lasted four days.
The winners of the NEPCS and some English teachers from China, America, England and Australia joined in it. We held an English speech match, watched the students performance and visited the place of interest. Also, we exchange our ways of learning English.
So from it I improved my spoken English greatly. Although it wasnt long, we learned a lot. And the most important thing was that I made many friends and felt very happy.
