What do you want to be in the futureMaybe a teacher, a policeman or a detective…Everyone has their own opinion. I have read the top seven careers. Now I will introduce four of them for you.
The first one is the banker. Wealth is becoming one of the most important signs of a successful career. But ,in fact, not all the banks are about the money——like Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. Song Ge is this corporation’s banker. Song Ge tell us that a banker must have a good knowledge of banking, like how a bank works, how to run a bank and how to keep a good relationship with customers and workmates. So, if you want to be a banker, you must have a professional knowledge and communication skills. It’s very difficult.
The second one is the doctor. There are many teenagers think that doctors are very great. Yes, that’s right. But, what should we do to be a good doctorChen Xuqing who works in the ear-nose-throat department maybe can tell us:‘A good doctor must be responsible, because patients put their health in doctors’ hands , so we should get patients’ trust. And doctors should always study to improve and practical their abilities and skills. ’
The third one is the photographer. Wang Kun is a photographer, and he is working for Beijing Youth Weekly. He likes his job because he thinks it is free, and he can meet different people and experience different lives. He also enjoys his job, and he can find lots of pretty things. The most important thing for a photographer is to get good ideas and to enjoy take pictures’ experience.
The fourth one is the scientist. When we were young, most of us want to be a scientist. WhyIt’s really a great career. Scientists have a lot of knowledge and keep up-to-date on the latest knowledge, or the rest of the world will leave you behind. They should be good at math and science and is very important to learn English. They must be able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines… In fact, scientists are important to the world, they can make our life better and better.
No matter what you want to be in the future, you will get the responsibility and challenges. All career paths need education and training. Now we should work and study hard to realize our dreams. Do it now!

My Ideal CareerMorning ,everyone. Im. Its my great honor to stand here and give you a presentation. Some classmates have talked their ideal career,as for me ,my dream is to be a teacher.As the saying goes"Teaching is the brightest job under the sun. "
Last year,I went to Ning Xia ,the west of our country.There,I acted as a volunteer and taught students history in junior high school.During that time,I attended some teachers classes to learn from them.After class,I may communicate with the students to get to know what they are thinking and what they really need. Whats more,my colleges were very nice and gave me many valuable advice. I felt very comfortable when working with them.When I was leaving, the students organized a farewell meeting and gave me many presents.I was moved to tears.Im very proud to have these students.That memorable experience let me love this career.
Besides the above reason, I want to teach because I like the freedom it offers me. Being a teacher I would have more spare time to be at my disposal. I can spend my vacations accompanying my family,I think we should find a balance between our life and career.
Sokrates said, "The happiest thing in the world is to fight for the ideal." To realize my ideal, I should make a good plan. First, the most important thing for me to do today is to study as hard as I can so that I can get much knowledge. If I want to help my students to be intellectual, I myself must be wise and learned. As a graduate student major in economics,I have confidence in myself.Second, I need to study some teaching skills and the knowledge of psychology. As a teacher, I will be patient, kind-hearted and lively. I will love them as my younger brothers and sisters, give them not only love but also respect. It s a striking fact that there isn t necesary relationship between one s major and specific job duties for majority of people. Many people condemn this on outdated education system an some even complain that textbooks are useless.
This phenomenon exists for a number of reasons. First of all , it s a common sense that there alwasys exists a gap between theory and practice. This gap needs to be bridged by continuous exporation of similarities and differences between these two factors and accordingly corresponding modification. Secondly, due to the rapid development of technology, the knowledge from textbooks becomes behind the times soon . And it will lead to the disassociation between what one acquired in college education and what he does at work.
From my point of view, when faced with the disassociation, one should adapt himself to working environment as soon as possible by adjusting his own information system. What s more important, life-long learing is essential to one s career success. Even after one reached the required levels from college education curriculum, pursuit of knowledge should never be ceased.
