A funny thing happened to me last Friday. I‘d gone to London to do some shopping. I wanted to get some Christmas presents, and I needed to find some books for my course at school (you see, I‘m a student). I caught an early train to London so by early afternoon I‘d bought everything that I wanted. Anyway, I‘m not very fond of London, all the noise and traffic, and I‘d made some arrangements for that evening. So, I took a taxi to Waterloo station. I can‘t really afford taxis, but I wanted to get the 3:30 train. Unfortunately the taxi got stuck in a traffic jam, and by the time I got to Waterloo, the train had just gone. I had to wait an hour for the next one. I bought an evening newspaper the ‘Standard‘, and wandered over to the station buffet. At that time of day it‘s nearly empty, so I bought a coffee and a packet of biscuits--chocolate biscuits. I‘m yew fond of chocolate biscuits. There were plenty of empty tables and I found one near the window. I sat down and began doing the crossword. enjoy doing crossword puzzles.
After a couple of minutes a man sat down opposite me. There was nothing special about him, except that he was very tall. In fact he looked like a typical city businessman--you know, dark suit and briefcase. I didn‘t say anything and I carried on with my crossword. Suddenly he reached across the table, opened my packet of biscuits, took one, dipped it into his coffee and popped it into his mouth, I couldn‘t believe my eyes! I was too shocked to say any thing. Anyway, I didn‘t want to make a fuss, so I decided to ignore it. I always avoid trouble if I can. I just took a biscuit myself and went back to my crossword.
When the man took a second biscuit, I didn‘t look up and I didn‘t make a sound. I pretended to be very interested in the puzzle. After a couple of minutes, I casually put out my hand, took the last biscuit and glanced at the man. He was staring at me furiously. I nervously put the biscuit in my mouth, and decided to leave. I was ready to get up and go when the man suddenly pushed back his chair, stood up and hurried out of the buffet. I felt very re. lieved and decided to wait two or three minutes before going myself. I finished my coffee, folded my newspaper and stood up. And there, on the table, where my newspaper had been, was my packet of biscuits.

One sunny weekend, I decided to go for a walk in the park. As I was strolling along the path, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the gentle breeze, an interesting thing happened.
I saw a little boy struggling to fly a kite. The kite kept getting stuck in the trees. He looked so frustrated that I couldnt help but go over and offer my help. We worked together to untangle the kite string. After several attempts, we finally got the kite free from the tree branches.
With our combined efforts, the kite soared high into the sky. The little boys face lit up with joy, and his laughter filled the air. It was such a heart - warming scene. As I watched the kite dance in the sky, I felt a sense of accomplishment.
We spent a long time in the park, running and laughing as the kite flew higher and higher. The little boy told me about his dreams and how he loved kites. I shared some of my own stories with him as well. It was amazing how a simple act of helping someone could bring so much happiness.
As the sun began to set, we said goodbye to each other. But that day will always remain in my memory as a wonderful and interesting experience. It taught me the value of helping others and the joy that can come from it.

Last week, I went to the supermarket with my mom. It was a regular shopping trip, or so I thought. As we were walking through the aisles, something really funny happened.
We were in the snack section when I saw a man wearing a funny hat that looked like a big strawberry. Everyone was looking at him and smiling. He didnt seem to mind at all and was happily pushing his cart around, singing a tune to himself.
As we passed by him, he made a funny face at me, which made me burst out laughing. My mom also couldnt help but chuckle. The man was so full of energy and good humor. He started chatting with us, telling us some jokes and making us laugh even harder.
He showed us some of the items in his cart and shared some interesting recipes he planned to make with them. It was like he was a walking entertainment show in the supermarket. We spent a good few minutes talking to him and it really made our shopping trip more enjoyable.
As we left the supermarket, I thought about how a simple encounter with a strange but funny man could turn an ordinary day into an interesting one. It just goes to show that you never know what kind of fun and surprises are waiting for you in the most unexpected places.

One day, I had a really interesting experience. I lost my key while playing outside. I had no idea where it could be. I searched everywhere - in the garden, under the bushes, and even in the neighbors yard. But I couldnt find it.
Just as I was about to give up, I noticed a little squirrel running around with something shiny in its mouth. Curious, I followed it. To my surprise, it was my key! It seemed that the squirrel had found it and was playing with it.
I gently took the key from the squirrel and thanked it. It looked at me with its bright eyes as if it understood what I was saying. I couldnt believe how this little creature had found my key and brought it to my attention.
It was such a strange and funny incident. I felt like I had had a little adventure in my own backyard. From that day on, whenever I saw a squirrel, I would remember this funny experience and smile.
This incident also taught me to be more careful with my things. But at the same time, it showed me that sometimes the most unexpected things can happen and bring a bit of excitement and fun into our lives.

One day, on my way home from school, I witnessed an interesting scene. As I was walking along the street, I saw a group of people gathering around a small cart. Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to go and have a look.
When I approached, I saw that the cart was selling various kinds of small toys. There was a small puppet that caught my eye. It had a funny face and colorful clothes. Just as I was about to take a closer look at the puppet, a little dog suddenly ran up to the cart. The dog was very cute, with shiny fur and a wagging tail. It seemed very interested in the toys as well.
The owner of the cart was trying to shoo the dog away, but the dog was quite persistent. It kept jumping around and barking at the toys. Everyone around started laughing at the dogs antics. I couldnt help but laugh too. Just then, the dog managed to grab a small ball from the cart and ran away with it. The owner of the cart chased after the dog, but the dog was too fast.
After a while, the dog came back, but this time it brought the ball back and dropped it at the feet of the cart owner. It seemed as if the dog was playing a game. The cart owner was both amused and exasperated. He picked up the ball and gave it back to the dog as a gesture of friendship. The dog happily took the ball and started playing with it nearby.
This incident really made my day. It was such a simple and yet funny moment. It made me realize that there are always interesting things happening around us if we are willing to open our eyes and notice them. I will always remember this funny encounter and the joy it brought me.

I found a long stick and started poking at the kite. After a few attempts, I finally managed to dislodge the kite. However, as the kite fell, it landed right on top of a man who was passing by. He was completely caught off guard and looked very surprised.
The children and I were all in shock for a moment, and then we burst out laughing. The man was very good - natured about it and joined in the laughter. He said it was the most unexpected thing that had happened to him that day.
We apologized to the man, and he said it was okay. He even helped the children launch the kite again. We all had a great time in the park that day. This incident taught me that sometimes, even the most well - intentioned actions can lead to unexpected and hilarious results. It also made me appreciate the importance of having a good sense of humor in life.
