　　One day, my son was playing football at home. He accidentally broke the window glass. My father was very angry and chased him. My son ran out in fear.

　　Until eight oclock in the evening, my son still hasnt come home. My father is walking around the house, sweating all over his head. Where is my son? Towards nine oclock, before his son came home, his father decided to go out to find him.

　　Its dark outside. The father anxiously looks around and keeps calling his sons name, but there is no trace of his son everywhere. Father went home dejected. Towards home, suddenly a ball hit him on the head. The father opened the door and saw that his son was at home. He happily held his son and said, "it doesnt matter if the glass breaks. Just come back!"

The son is quite naughty and always makes some a little trouble for his dad. But sometimes the boy is lovely and does some moving things. It shows us the amusing stories and the love between the father and son at the same time. However the most impressed thing is that the author who finished these funny and soothing pictures, lived in German’s wartime. Knowing of that special social background, I realize the optimistic spirit from this book. It became one of my collecting, I would never been losing interest with it and I even read it times by times for encouraging myself when I am in sadness.

　　One day, the father took his son to the small tree. The father wanted to see how tall his son would grow next year, so he wanted to measure his height with a small tree. The father brought a nail and a hammer. He first let his son stand upright with his back against the tree, then held the nail in his mouth and bit it with his teeth. Then he used the hammer as a ruler to make a mark on the tree trunk along the direction of his sons head, and then let his son stand to one side. Finally, he used the hammer to fix the nail where the mark was made.
