　　《變形金剛3》已經拍攝到第三部已經不容易了，畢竟第一部太完美了，而且在故事上沒有給第二部和第三部的故事發展留下多少發展的空間。所以第二部不是太如意，而第三部也表現得不盡人意，在故事上有點枯燥，留給觀眾的只是特效的表現空間。劇情表現很簡單，主題依然是“保護地球”，只不過這次壞蛋從威震天變成“叛徒”御天敵，威震天退居次席，戲份也變得很少。而且這次火玩得更大，御天敵為了重建塞博坦星球，利用太空橋將塞博坦移到地球，使人類變成他們的奴隸從而幫助他們建設塞博坦。當然這一切最終還是失敗了！只不過鐵皮和古怪被殺，而且鐵皮連怎么死的都不知道，大黃蜂也差點掛了，擎天柱失去了一只胳膊，威震天的戲份過少，這些總讓人感到有些遺憾，雖然這是必不可少的某些結果，可是總有點殘酷。

　　影片人物上依然靠希亞的出色表演，特魯圖魯的滑稽表現來豐富影片的內容，對于女主角，觀眾們一致性地表現了不滿，沒有梅甘·福克斯的性感和火辣，當然也不會演戲，雖然梅甘也不會演，但是梅甘會當好花瓶，竭力去表現自己會演戲。片中加上了大量的圍繞現實的問題，比如就業，展現了當今經濟危機下就連常青藤盟校的高材生想找一份滿意的工作都是如此困難。
