To get up early is a good habit, for it can do you much good. Getting up early can help you to be healthy. The air in the morning is fresh. If you breathe such air, it does you a lot of good. You can have some sports, too in the morning. This can make you stronger. The fresh air and quietness in the morning make you think more quickly than any other time of the day and memorize what you have learned easily. Another reason for you to think quickly and memorize things easily is that you have taken a long rest during the night.

　　Getting up early can also help you to train your character. Some students can get up early, but some can not. This needs perseverance. 　　所謂三段式就是將一篇書面表達按三段的寫作模式謀篇布局。就整體篇章結構而言，如何把握較大的寫作空間，三段式的寫作模式為最佳選擇。三段式的模式寫法通常為：

　　1．第一段開門見山，提出要解決的問題或觀點，或者把時間，地點，人物和主要事件及時點出。

　　2．第二段要擺出事實或提出論據，或者把事情發展的經過詳細寫出來。

　　3．最后一段，得出結論或理由。

　　注意：

　　要學會使用過渡詞。過渡詞猶如“橋梁”和“粘合劑 ”。恰當地使用過渡詞可避免結構松散，層次分明，表意不清等弊端，使文章條理清楚，文字連貫流暢。常用的過渡詞有：

　　遞進型： also, (and)besides, what’s more, moreover, furthermore, in addition, even, what’s worse, worse still, to make matters worse, for the worse, not only…but also等；

　　解釋型：that is (to say), in other words, or, namely, if fact, in reality, as a matter of fact等；

　　轉折型：however, but, yet, nevertheless, instead, on the contrary,on the other hand 等；

　　列舉型：firstly…secondly…finally, on the one hand, on the other hand, for one thing, for another 等

　　舉例型：for example, for instance, such as, that is, like, take… for example等；

　　讓步型：though, although, in spite of, despite 等；

　　順序型：first…next…and then…finally, first…then…after that…finally 等；

　　并列型：and, both…and, or, either…or, as well as, 等

　　時間型：afterwards, soon, later, the moment/ immediately/ on doing, hardly…when, no sooner…than 等

　　總結型：in a word, to sum up, in short, on the whole, in conclusion 等

　　見解型：in my opinion, personally speaking, as far as I am concerned,I’m sure 等

　　One of the most important things to success is a firm resolution. A great man is always one who has a firm resolution and an inflexible spirit. One will never succeed all his life without a firm will to get the final victory.

　　As a rule , great tasks are accomplished by men of strong will. For example, Dr. Sun Yatsen, the founder of the Republic of China, set the Chinese people free from the Manchurian rule through a long period of hard struggle.

　　Many of his attempts failed and many of his followers were killed, but he had an inflexible spirit and stuck to his cause. Finally, he made the revolution of 1911 a success. A student who has no resolution will never succeed in his studies.

　　The same is true of men in all walks of life. We must have a firm resolution first, if we wish to succeed. We must always remember the old saying that where there is a will, there is a way.
