　　It is universally acknowledged that Senior Three is undoubtedly a critical phase of life. The school life is extremely busy, so our monitor suggests that we have an outing to relax ourselves this weekend.

　　It is terrific! After a month s study, I feel we really need a break for one day, and so do some of my friends. Senior Three should not be filled with study only and relaxation is also an important part. Sometimes relaxation is more useful than an hour s hard work. While having an outing, we can relax ourselves and enjoy the beautiful scenery of autumn --- yellow leaves, attractive sunset against the blue sky and so on. Isn t it enjoyable? After the outing, I think all the students will have a better physical and mental state to meet the further challenges we may come across and cope with difficulties for ourselves.

　　That day, the weather is sunny, like spring is coming! My brother and I went to the village building small set off firecrackers. Brother said: "this small firecrackers, the call to jilt cannon." Then brother let me play left first gun, because I was afraid of playing with that, the elder brother take a small firecrackers, and then use lighter lit it, and then thrown to the ground, such as the inside of the smoke stopped little firecrackers burst. 　　寒假里的一件件事猶如一朵朵煙花豐富多彩，像一片片飄落的雪花輕盈快樂，我仔細地拾取其中的`一件，我最難忘的是和哥哥放鞭炮。

　　那天，天氣陽光明媚，就像是春天來了呢!我和哥哥到小區樓小放鞭炮去了。哥哥說：“這個叫小鞭炮，那個叫甩炮。”然后哥哥就讓我先玩甩炮，因為我怕玩那個，哥哥拿起小鞭炮，然后用打火機把它點燃，再扔到了地上，等里面的煙停了小鞭炮就爆了。我把甩炮用力扔在地上，它也破了。突然，我想到了一個好辦法：把甩炮放在地上踩，這樣甩炮就叫踩炮了，真是一炮兩用呀，說著，我把炮踩了下去，一聲雷鳴嚇了一跳，我看見哥哥手上拿著甩炮向椅子上扔去反彈到了其它的地方，然后哥哥說我們來玩小鞭炮吧!我說：“我不敢!”哥哥又說：“加油，你一定能。”經過哥哥的鼓勵和指導下我終于挺身而出，按哥哥說的做，結果我終于成功了!我又拿了一個小鞭炮，點了火，結果忘記扔了，我想起我還沒扔，我加快把它扔掉，它就在空中爆破了。天色已晚，我和哥哥上了電梯回家了。

　　放鞭炮真有趣，讓我克服了心中的恐懼，變得英勇無敵。想起這件事，那個小鞭炮又在我心中綻開了花。

　　I like reading in my free time. I've read all kinds of books which are written by many famous writers from all over the world. But I like a Chinese writer best. His name is Xu Zimo.

　　Xu Zimo was born in a big family. His parents were good at writing and his father taught little Xu by himself. When Xu Zimo was very young, he was interested in reading. Fables, stories or novels were his favorites and he often nearly forgot eating and sleeping.

　　When Xu was about six years old, he began to write some short stories. He was always practising writing and he did better and better. But he still kept on reading, because he always believed that “Reading makes a full man, a ready man and an exact man.”

　　When he grew up, his life dream came true. He became a world-famous writer. Not only Chinese but also people from other countries worshiped Xu Zimo. His writing was enjoyed by all the people. Everybody thought that Xu's works were so nice and great. From his writing, people can understand a lot. I have learnt that if someone wants to be a great person, he must work hard!

　　In order to eat healthily, I usually avoid eating food high in fat, like French fries or cookies. I also eat little meat. I eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of vitamins.

　　Taking exercise every day helps us build a strong body. Regular exercise is an important part of keeping me healthy.

　　What's more, I think friends are an important part of one's health. Many studies show that people with a wide range of social contacts get sick less than those who don't. I always feel better when I am with friends than when I am alone. When I am with my friends, I always laugh. Laughing is also an important part of health. I like to laugh with my friends.

　　By eating properly and exercising regularly, I can keep my body at a proper weight and keep healthy. By spending time with my friends, I can keep my mind as well as my body happy. These things sound easy to do, but not many people can manage them. I think a strong will is necessary if we want to keep healthy.
