　　Let me tell you something about my summer holiday. My summer holiday is rich and colorful. My parents take me to Hong Kong. That’s a beautiful place. I buy a lot of funny things at there. Such as pretty dresses, cute dolls and the snacks I never eat before. I really want to stay there and never come back! In a word, I really appreciate the life there.

　　I have a lot of friends in Simon English School. One of them is my best friend. His name is boyd.

　　He and I are both thirteen years old. but I am older than he, and I am fatter than he too. He is shorter than I, and he is thinner than I. He wears a pair of glasses but I don‘t.

　　He likes to eat pocket-food, and he is a gentleman in a sense that when he has pock-food he will share them with us.

　　He and I are in the same school and in the same class. So, we can help each other. We always play in the school together. he likes to do things that I like. He lives in the Ningbo Jiangdong, so he hardly came to my home in Zhenhai but I alway go to his home on weekends and he sometimes will come to my home on weekends. Sometimes we will fight but we always get along well.

　　His mother is a doctor in the Li-Hui-Li hospital and I know where her office is. His father is a worker in the Bei-Lun power plant. He is a head of a group. So, his father has a lot of work to do.

　　He and I are in the same school. We usually have a good time so he is my best friend.

　　I live in a flat in a building. The building is very modern. There are about ten floors and I live on the top floor. I think my flat is very wonderful. The dining room is next to the kitchen. We always have dinner there， and my mother often cooks some delicious food for us. I can‘t cook， but I often help Mum wash the dishes. Sometimes my friends come to my flat and they teach me how to cook. So now， I can cook something for my family. I like the sofa in my sitting room. It is very comfortable and it is purple. What a nice colour!

　　The bathroom with a bath and a shower has a mirror. It is in the shape of star. There are four members in my family. They are my father， my mother， my brother and I. My parents work hard. They are very tired and I think they should have a good sleep. So the bedroom is the best place. My younger brother is only six years old. I love him even though he troubles me some times. In my bedroom， there are lots of posters of Angela on the wall. Angela is my favourite super star.

　　I am taking a long vacation this National Day .

　　My mother told me to make vacation plans. So I am thinking about what I am doing for vacation. My father wants me to go to Beijing with him, my mother wants me to visit my grandma with her , but I just want to spend time with my friends and relax at home, because I am tired and sleepy after long weeks classes.

　　Later on , I decide to go to Beijing with my father on October 1st . I am visiting Tian’an Men Square, Bird nets and taking a lot of beautiful photos there. But I don’t like going away for too long, so I am staying there just for four days.

　　After I get back home, I am visiting my grandma with my mother and brother on October 5th . I am watching TV and having lunch at my grandma’s home. In the afternoon, we are going shopping at the mall.

　　On October 6th. I am ralaxing at home , playing computer games and surfing the Internet . I am going to beaches with my friends on the seventh day. We are playing in the water and playing beach volleyball there.

　　I hope the weather will be nice during National Day holiday and I am enjoying myself. I can’t wait.

　　So, money does not necessarily mean happiness. It all depends on how it is used. If we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone to happiness l Although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possible if it is employed sensibly.
