英語一直是我最頭痛的一門功課。因?yàn)樵谖铱磥碛袩o數(shù)個(gè)毫無規(guī)律的英語單詞要背誦，還有那莫名其妙的聽力，都令我煩惱不已。但這學(xué)期我發(fā)現(xiàn)我似乎對(duì)這門討厭的功課產(chǎn)生了興趣。
事情的起因是爸爸出差到北京，給我?guī)Щ亓艘慌_(tái)讀書郎英語同步讀書機(jī)。我立刻被它漂亮的外表吸引住了，因?yàn)樗褚慌_(tái)高檔的筆記本電腦。打開讀書機(jī)，左邊是音標(biāo)，分為元音、輔音；右邊是26個(gè)英語字母。最大的好處是它可以下載我上課用的PEP教材。媽媽讓我打開英語課本，翻到第1頁，把讀書機(jī)中的頁碼調(diào)至相同頁碼，我再用那神奇的信號(hào)筆一點(diǎn)，點(diǎn)到哪兒，讀書機(jī)就發(fā)出標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的讀音，點(diǎn)第二遍時(shí)它就譯出這個(gè)單詞的中文含義，真是太神奇了！
剛開始幾天，我每天一放學(xué)就抱著這臺(tái)讀書郎，漸漸地新鮮勁也就過去了。媽媽看準(zhǔn)了時(shí)機(jī)，立即調(diào)動(dòng)我的積極性，把老師當(dāng)天教的英語單詞分批教我，并慢慢告訴我這個(gè)字母在單詞中所發(fā)的音。這樣，日積月累，慢慢地我對(duì)有些字母的發(fā)音規(guī)律也有所掌握。正像媽媽所說的那樣，一旦你會(huì)讀準(zhǔn)這個(gè)單詞，那么這個(gè)單詞的一半已被記住，只要稍一用心，就可記住全部。媽媽告訴我：學(xué)習(xí)英語要循序漸進(jìn)，因?yàn)橛洃洉?huì)衰減，所以學(xué)單詞時(shí)，先學(xué)一遍，過一會(huì)兒復(fù)習(xí)一遍，到第二天再復(fù)習(xí)一遍，一星期、一個(gè)月內(nèi)再次復(fù)習(xí)，這樣能把短期記憶變成長期記憶。這種方法叫作思馬德記憶。按照媽媽所說的方法，我試了一下。哎，果真有效果！漸漸地我對(duì)背誦單詞有點(diǎn)竅門了。這個(gè)學(xué)期六個(gè)單元所要求的四會(huì)單詞，我全部做到了會(huì)聽、說、讀、寫。
因?yàn)楸痴b單詞有了明顯的進(jìn)步，得到了老師的表揚(yáng)，我的.學(xué)習(xí)熱情倍增，對(duì)聽力也產(chǎn)生了興趣。現(xiàn)在我拿到聽力課文，不象以前那樣手忙腳亂，而是先把課文、圖案看一遍。如果是選擇題，我會(huì)看清圖案，了解這幾幅圖的大致含義，再聽錄音。我現(xiàn)在能抓住幾個(gè)重點(diǎn)詞語與圖案進(jìn)行對(duì)照，基本能做到準(zhǔn)確無誤。對(duì)閱讀也同樣，抓住幾個(gè)關(guān)鍵詞語和下面的問題進(jìn)行對(duì)照。

I don’t think it’s a very good idea to borrow money from a friend. It can cause resentment and awkwardness in the relationship. How do you approach your friend without making him feel he has to do this for you? It’s unlikely he’ll feel as if he can turn you down. Can be turn you down without insulting you? Probably not.
How do you know whether your friend can afford to lend you the money? He may be embarrassed to admit he’s a little short of funds himself. Or he might not want to disappoint you. So he lends you the money and then he needs money, too.
There’s also the question of when you’ll pay back the loan. It’s awkward for your friend to ask for a deadline for repayment. Besides, if you’re short of funds, you may not be able to predict when you’ll pay him back. What about interest on the loan? If it’s a small amount of money, this doesn’t matter. However, if large funds are involved, and you won’t be paying it back for a while, should you offer to pay interest? Should your friend ask you to pay interest? All these issues can result in hurt feelings and can harm the friendship.
It’s possible, of course, that if you borrow money from a friend and pay it back in a timely fashion, this will create a special bond between the two of you. You’ll know that you can count on your friend when you need help. He’ll know you’re trustworthy.
However, more often than not, money issues between friends are an embarrassment. If you need money, it’ s better to go to a bank for a loan.

現(xiàn)在看到年輕人變成房奴不奇怪，因?yàn)橹袊艘恢抡J(rèn)為結(jié)婚得買房。就像我們所見到的，城市里到處都是房地產(chǎn)廣告。然而，房地產(chǎn)市場如此火爆是受個(gè)人購房需求的增長影響的。
By storing most of their wealth in real estate, many Chinese households have become house price dependent. They dream about that they will have a happy family life after they have a house of their own, but as a matter of fact, a family like that has to repay the loan principal and interest with 40%-50% of disposable income or even higher proportion every year. Undoubtedly, it will affect the normal consumption, make family life quality drops, and even make people feel depression of slavery.

By contrast,their pressure is far smaller than house slave; they don’t have to worry about mortgage. In my point of view, I won’t become a house slave unless a have money to buy a house.
