Mid-autumn Festival is a popular and important lunar harvest festival celebrated by Chinese people. The festival is held on the 15thday of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar. There are some traditions in this holiday. For example, people would have a big dinner with their families. After dinner, they often enjoy the full moon which is round and bright. The other tradition of mid-autumn festival is eating moon cake. Moon cake is the essential of that day, which means reunion. As time goes by, there are various kinds of moon cakes, but they are much more expensive than before. I like mid-autumn festival because my families will get together and have a big dinner on that day.

今年的高考英語有什么新動(dòng)向，如何備戰(zhàn)才能獲得高分？在日前由《中國電腦教育報(bào)》和DEC中恒聯(lián)合舉辦的21世紀(jì)語言與情景教學(xué)高級(jí)專家論壇上，來自北京外國語大學(xué)、清華大學(xué)、北京大學(xué)等知名學(xué)府和權(quán)威語言教學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)的英語教育專家透露：今年高考英語將更加突出語言的整體運(yùn)用功能，“情景”考察的比重進(jìn)一步加大，所有題型從聽力到書面表達(dá)無不是在語境中進(jìn)行詞匯、語法等單項(xiàng)的`考察。專家提醒廣大考生，要徹底丟棄過去那種死記硬背單詞、生呑活剝語法的“頭痛醫(yī)頭腳痛醫(yī)腳”式復(fù)習(xí)方法，從整體上把握英語，以能力的提高為應(yīng)試的基石，否則難獲高分。
專家分析說，近幾年高考英語單項(xiàng)選擇一般是15道題，其中有10道題是直接在語境中進(jìn)行考察的，只有5道題或者是句子結(jié)構(gòu)分析或者詞義辨析，即使是純結(jié)構(gòu)和辨析題也都包含一定的語境。所以，教師在平時(shí)編題，考生在復(fù)習(xí)時(shí)都應(yīng)該遵從這個(gè)比例配置，把語境題放在主導(dǎo)地位。閱讀理解盡管包含了各種各樣的話題，但是歷屆高考閱讀題細(xì)節(jié)占的比重最大，所謂細(xì)節(jié)其實(shí)就是語境、情景。在聽力方面，輸出的信息完全在語境中進(jìn)行。而書面表達(dá)，一般是情景作文，或者開放式的情景作文，在一定情景基礎(chǔ)上給學(xué)生更大的思維空間，目的是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)新能力。
