What is more, overseas experience is the best opportunity for the real-life use of foreign languages. There is no better opportunity to improve second-language skills than living in the country in which it is spoken.

　　Generally peaking, it is my view that although going abroad is expensive and perhaps painful, the payoff is worthwhile. In the first place, in addition to knowledge, overseas students can gain precious experiences that those who stay at home will never have. 　　英語，是全世界通用的語言，只要你會說英語，不管走到哪里，就都不用擔(dān)心受怕了。

　　我喜歡英語這門學(xué)科。最早接觸英語的時候是小學(xué)三年級，當(dāng)時學(xué)校對這門新開設(shè)的功課雖然比較重視，但沒有安排單元檢測，所以大家上英語課都比較散漫，整個課堂都鬧哄哄的，而且我們的老師水平似乎也不高。那個時候，我對英語并不感興趣。

　　直到五年級，我們換了一個英語老師，這個新老師長得很漂亮，英語說得很好，我很喜歡她。剛開始，我是因為她的美貌，想讓她注意我，才在課堂上認真聽講的。后來，我學(xué)進去之后，才發(fā)現(xiàn)英語很有意思，也很“好學(xué)”，因此，我對英語產(chǎn)生來濃厚的興趣。

　　有一回，我在超市買東西，偶然地看到了一個外國人，因為在那之前我從未看到過外國人，所以對她很好奇。金黃色的長發(fā)，棕色的眼睛，高挺的鼻子，簡直是深深地迷住了我。我那時就一直看著她，當(dāng)然，我知道這樣是很不禮貌的，可是我就是對她充滿了好奇心。我很想走過去和她說幾句話，可是我又不敢。后來，她好像注意到了我，對我笑了一笑。她這一笑簡直是讓我欣喜若狂，在那一刻，我就下定決心一定要學(xué)好英語，一定要能和外國人流利地交談。

　　從此我就經(jīng)常去找英語老師，向老師了解一些關(guān)于外國和英語有關(guān)的事。

　　現(xiàn)在初中了，我還是對英語有濃厚的興趣。黃老師很親切，每次看到她，就像是看到老熟人一樣。我很喜歡上她的課，有時我都巴不得一整天都上英語課。英語課很輕松，幾乎都是洋溢著笑聲的。黃老師還能說一口流利的英文，可以完全聽懂老外的話，也可以流利地和老外交流，這一點，我特別羨慕黃老師。她是我的偶像，是我的榜樣，我要像她看齊（雖然她是我的老師）。

　　班上很多人覺得我上英語課和外教可很激動，確實，我承認，但這也是我喜歡英語的`一種方式。我對英語有一種莫名的喜歡，看到老外，我就像是吃了興奮一樣，就算原本不高興也會變得很高興。

　　上外教課時，我會很認真地聽講，雖然有很多聽不懂，老外抽問時，我也都會積極地舉手發(fā)言，哪怕是回答不了。我也不會覺得丟臉，因為我站起來回答問題，也是給自己的一次鍛煉機會，同時也和老外多接觸了一次，所以，哪怕是回答不了問題，我也是很開心的。

　　這個暑假我去看了上海的世博會，我在世博園里大開了眼界，里面有好多的外國人。每看到外國人我都會主動上去邀請他們和我一起拍照。剛開始和老外交流時，我有些害怕，怕自己說不好英語，但是那些熱情的外國人個給予了我勇氣，讓我敢于大聲發(fā)出邀請，“Can you teke photos with me？”（你能和我一起拍照嗎？）當(dāng)然，在和外國人交涉的時候我也碰過壁，那是在地鐵站里，我看到一個外國人，我很開心地看來他一眼，可他卻皺著眉頭，用不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的普通話說“不要看我。”這句話讓當(dāng)時的我很是尷尬，因為我從未碰到過這種狀況，這次的事，讓我注意起對待老外的應(yīng)有禮節(jié)，但這并不影響我對英語的熱愛。

　　從小學(xué)到現(xiàn)在，我對英語的熱愛是越來越深。
