我的英文本子安靜的躺在木桌上，陽光映照在它方方正正的身體上，它已經“沉睡”了很久了，雖然幾乎要被我遺忘了，但在做英語作業時還是會不由自主的將它喚醒。
它總是一副悠閑自在的模樣，躺在桌上享受著陽光的沐浴。從正面看，它有一身紫紅色的光滑肌膚，側面看，便會發現它的側面皮膚可謂產生了嚴重的龜裂，甚至還帶有一點黑色的斑點，這明顯是歲月留下的痕跡，但在我看來，卻多了幾分美感。
英語本的表面曾經一度淪落為我涂鴉的大好天地，各種顏色的彩筆都在它的身體上留下了了個不相同的印跡，四周似是為了更加美觀而添上了一圈黑色花邊作裝飾，正面居中處大大標寫著“英語本”三個大字，上方還用一個黑圈框住三根蠟燭的圖案，但周圍顯然被傷害過了，但想必也給英語本帶來了幾分別樣的色彩。
它背面的.左下方分明的印著“得力”二字，字的下面則詳細的介紹了這個本子的情況，但他實在是太陳舊了，如果沒有商標的話，我認為它是一個三無產品也說奇不奇了，當然，現在有了，那就另當別論。
而它的內部自然也少不了涂鴉的身影，這個本子是我三年級時學英語時送的，里面呀記錄了我曾經奮發圖強，力求上進的樣子，里面的一筆一畫都顯得格外認真，也可以說是象征我成長的一個東西，畢竟過了兩年，很多東西都已物是人非了。
早晨，那個紫紅色的身影依舊安詳的躺在木桌上，依舊享受著陽光的沐浴，依舊用點滴的陳述來讓我憶起三年級時那段令人難忘的時光，但唯有不同的是它表面的涂鴉早已消失的一干二凈了……
