So the ungrateful(忘恩負(fù)義的) man decided to cut the tree down. When he walked towards the tree with an axe in his hand, the tree said to him, Please dont cut me down. I have born so many pears for you in the past years. Now I will die soon. I only have a short time to live. Please dont kill a dying tree that has done so much for you.

　　Im sorry. I have to do so, the man said, Because I need wood to make a chair. Then he began to wave his axe. At that moment, a bird in the old tree shouted at him, Dont cut it down! Every time you go out and your wife feels lonely, she will come out to the garden and sit under the tree to enjoy its cool shade, and I sing to make her happy. We give much pleasure to your wife when you are away from home.

　　The man didnt listen to the bird and drove it away. He was about to cut the tree when some bees flew out of it and said, Listen! If you agree not to kill this tree, we will give you delicious honey every day. Would you please leave the tree with us?

　　If we think positively, office love can be beneficial to company.

　　Beneficial? I don’t think so. If two employees get married, they will leave at the same time for a honeymoon, or later one of them will stay at home taking care of babies. If they break up, the company will probably have to relocate one of them to make the workplace more comfortable. By any means, the company must spare extra efforts to solve problems brought by an office dating.

　　But if two employees are in love, they will be happy. Happy people are more productive. If they develop an intimate relation with each other, they are willing to share knowledge and experience. It can help to improve work efficiency.
