　　FUTURE IS NOW

　　What is future?Every time I look at the stars in the sky,I ask myself.It's realy a hard question to answer it.The universe is boundless,we don't know where are we from and where shall we go.I stand there,at sea.

　　Last Sunday,there was a rain of meteors.I went to the belcony towait for their coming.Above my shoulder,it was the wind.Above the wind,it was the sky,huge and blue,with sparkling stars.Suddenly,a shooting star appeared.I hurried to pray for her happiness,staring at it.I wanted to pray for more,but it had already died out.I realised ,future is not carved on the meteors,but it's now,around us.

　　When a fortune-teller look at your palm,she'll tell you how your future will be like.That's a way you place your hope on.But it's not realistic.The future is the things and people around you.What you should do is to try to do everything well,don't care much about the results.Be kind to all the people around you,and love them.Although the world is not full of love,the life is not a bed of rose,you should sdick on your belief.When time passes,you'll find everything you do is worthwhile.

　　Years is glorious.Because no way you can stop time from elasping.How time flies!Just like the flowers in spring,the sunshine in summer,the moon in mid-autumn and the snow in winter.Maybe one morning you'll never wake up,you'll never see the sunrise or the sunset;you'll never see your sweatheart or talk to her,you'll never hear the sound of the nature or wander on the path among the trees,you'll never swim in the lake or climb the mountains.

　　Time is gold.Every minute is precious.We should make best use of it.Don't waste even one minute.Spend time in working,in laughing,in playing games and in loving.

　　Each of us has a kite flying in the sky,and we also have a string each.

　　Children's kite is childhood,the string is grown.

　　Lovers' kite is love,the string is daily life.

　　The wind which makes kites fly is future.Kites are not free,but we still have power to control them and let them fly higher and higher.The string is in my hands,future is now in my hands.

　　初二是初中三年中最重要的一年，因為初二是學生成績兩極分化非常嚴重的一年，成績好的同學越好，而成績差的同學越差。有些同學想等到初三才認真學習，想提高成績，考入重點高中。但由于初二基礎較差而心想事不成。那么，如何使自己的成績一如既往并有所提高呢？這就需要我們同學養成良好的學習習慣。古今中外的大量事實證明：一個人成功與否，主要不是因為他的智力，而是取決于他是否具備良好的學習習慣，因此我們必須注重良好學習習慣的養成。渴望在學術上有所建樹，那么，就請你盡早養成良好的學習習慣。在學校的學習中，一個良好學習習慣主要包括：預習習慣、上課習慣、復習習慣、自我提問的習慣、“不恥下問”的習慣、利用工具書的習慣。

　　1、“凡事預則立，不預則廢”。預習是首要的環節。預習的目的在于對將要學習的'知識有個總體的了解，以便上課時有目的的聽講，集中精力解決好新課的重點和難點。所以，學習新課前必須預習。預習時要逐詞逐句閱讀相關學習內容，聯系以前所學過的相關知識，深刻理解本節課知識的重點和難點，畫出哪些地方不會，并及時做好記錄，為下一節上課做好充分的思想基礎。良好的預習習慣的養成，并不是一朝一夕的努力就行了，需要每天堅持預習。同時，在預習的時候應做到看、做、思相結合，做到眼到、手到、心到，不能把預習當作任務來完成，而要將它看作是學習新知識的一個重要環節來看待。

　　2、上課是學生掌握知識的主戰場。上課的時候，課前要準備好所需用的課本、筆記本、作業本、工具書等，課上要認真專注地聽老師的講解和同學們的發言，要積極和老師配合，隨時跟上老師的思路和節奏，積極回答老師提出的每一個問題，對分組討論的問題要積極踴妖，敢于發表自己的意見和見解。同時，要養成一個善于記錄課堂筆記的習慣，要記錄學習的要點、學習新得、以及老師對教材的補充和延伸，以便逐步加深和更正自己對新知識的理解，不斷提高自己的自學能力。

　　3、課后復習是對知識的鞏固和消化過程。課后一定要進行及時鞏固復習，對課上所學習的重點、難點知識進行反思、總結，哪個地方會了，哪個地方還不會。

　　4、善于自我提問的習慣。從某種意義上講，學習的過程就是一個不斷提出問題并不斷解決問題的過程。善于提出問題，是自學能力強的標志之一。5、“不恥下問”的習慣。有些同學有了問題，自己解決不了，又死要面子，不肯問人，這樣問題越積越多，學習就會陷入被動局面。

　　6、利用工具書的習慣。要解決那些自己不能解決的問題，除了向老師、家長和同學請教外，還可以利用工具書求得解答。學生都要備有必要的工具書，特別是《新華字典》《英語詞典》。

　　行為養成習慣，習慣造就性格，性格決定命運。我們每個人的心田好比一塊神奇的土地，播種了一種思想，便會有行為的收獲，播種了行為，便會有習慣的收獲，播種了習慣便會有品德的收獲，播種了品德，便會有命運的收獲。可見，良好的習慣對人生的確太重要了。習慣是一種能量的儲蓄，養成良好學習習慣的人，要比那種沒有養成良好習慣的人以及養成不良學習習慣的人具有較大的潛在能量。

　　我是初二(3)班的英語老師，首先歡迎各位家長的到來。借此機會，我想應該給各位家長談一下孩子們在這一個學期的情況。

　　開學初，本班學生在中缺乏積極性，自覺性差，凡事都要不停地反復的督促。布置的任務不能及時的完成。而初二的英語教材相較三、四年級，又有所變化，起初孩子們沒有找好學習的切入點，所以我們在座有些家長就反映孩子的英語成績較之前有所下降。一學期下來了，在強化課堂教學，抓好課堂效益上，我結合教材和學生的多方面情況，做了以下一些工作：

　　1、初二英語在聽、說、讀、寫方面的要求更加重要，我們盡量在課堂上幫助學生掌握知識，開展活動，讓他們在不知不覺中張口說英語。比如我們班莊園，王輝，錢勇，曹旭成，王聲康，許雅文等同學，每節課的知識和作業都能當堂掌握和完成。

　　2、興趣是最好的老師。英語課中多是一些情景對話，我們常常設置一個情境，讓學生進入其中，以表演的形式學習新知，樂在其中。如李杰，葛宇，逗號，潘建如，李浪，張朋順，周揚名，吳家佩，花尉揩，沈培歡等同學，經常表演和惟妙惟肖，讓人忍俊不禁的同時，其他同學也加深了對課文的理解。

　　3、孩子們都是要強的，我們舉行各式各樣的比賽，讓他們自發地要求進步。最近我們開展一對一的擂臺賽。孩子們學習的積極性高漲。如張峰瑋與莊園同學之間，楊冬煦和潘康同學之間，你追我趕，共同進步。我們也進行了一些簡單的測試，有很多同學較開學初都有很大的進步。尤其是張影，張自豪，劉俊杰，李杰，鮑勝凡，潘國光，呂文豪等同學。我們班同學，優秀的學生不僅成績好，在英語表達能力上也有提高，學習有困難的學生也不氣餒，一直在努力地向前沖。學習英語是為了以后能與人用英語交流，平時有積累，最后就能收獲成功。讓我們一起為孩子們營造一個開心快樂的學習氛圍，真正讓孩子們相對學的輕松，扎實，有效。

　　Life isn't about keeping score. Life isn't about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin. In fact it's not about if you have lots of friends or if you are alone, and it's not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn't about that.

　　But life is about whom you love and who you hurt. It's about how you feel about yourself. It's about trust, happiness and compassion. It's about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. It's about what you say and what you mean. It's about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. And we should always remember to be ourselves. Other might have things that we desire but being what we really are is the only trail leading to the true colors of life. Most of all, it's about choosing to use your life to touch someone else's in a way that could have never been achieved otherwise.

　　The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers; we buy more but enjoy them less. We've learnt how to make a living but not a life, we've added years to life, but not life to years. And it is time for us to choose whether to make a difference in our life.
