　　Good morning, Dear professors:

　　It’s my honor to introduce myself to you. My name is Wang Min, and come from Yan’an city, Shaanxi Province. I was born in November, 1985, and now is a three-year-old girl’s father. I am a candidate for the engineer position of the College of Science.

　　My background and work experience are tailor-made for this position. I studied Optical Physics as an undergrad in Northwestern Polytechnical University during 20xx to 20xx. After graduating here I went off to the Optics and Electronics Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, which is the state key lab of optical technologies on nano-fabrication and micro-engineering. I followed Prof. Luo Xiangang and received my Ph. D degree last year in Optical Engineering. I’m interested in metamaterial design, and have utilized my skills and knowledge working as the Assistant Engineer on electromagnetic absorber and functional antenna radome.

　　I was class monitor during the undergraduate studies in Northwestern Polytechnical University. This experience taught me how to get along with university students, how to conduct affairs, and how important teamwork is.

　　The position for my application would be both a learning experience and a great opportunity. I’m looking forward to back and become part of Mother school. Thank you.
