　　（一）英語求職信的定義：求職信是根據已知某單位發布的用人信息向用人單位申請職務、工作時發出的一種申請信。求職信的運用相當普遍，是一種常用的應用文。

　　（二）求職信的寫作要求：求職信的格式同一般書信一樣，一般也要包括信頭、信內地址、稱呼、正文、結尾語、簽名等幾部分。除此之外，求職信的寫作還要注意以下幾點。

　　1、一般不提工資待遇：一般不要在求職信中提出自己的`工資待遇問題，留待對方決定聘用時再協商。如確實必要，可說明自己目前職位的工資數額或工資要求的大致數額，以備對方參考。

　　2、內容要真實，評價要適當：求職信的內容要真實，自我評價要適當。對自己的優點長處不夸大、不過分渲染，但也不要過于謙虛，更不要自我貶低。寫作語氣要肯定、自信，給對方留下好印象。

　　3、語言簡潔，清楚明白：為了保證對方能夠讀完全文，求職信應言簡意賅，不寫與主題無關的內容，少用冷僻字，行文要流暢、自然。

　　（三）求職信的主要內容：謀求的職位不同，求職信的內容和寫法也會稍有不同，但一般來講，求職信的內容都要具有以下四個方面：
