　　As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in ourlife. I don’t expect com#plete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have adream that supports my life.

　　I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooksand lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the greengrass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the freshand cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoymentcan bring me great satisfaction.

　　My name is Jie Lidi. Today, my topic is: “Confidence”. As we all know,failure is the mother of success. But What I want to say is that success is thechild of confidence. I should have said: "I listen to the Voice of America"but I was too nervous and said "I listen to the Noise of America". Everybody inthe class laughed. 　　不過，獲得了獎并不意味著就達到了我們的目標而可以停滯不前。在人生旅途中，獲獎只是一種助推器，而不是最根本的動力器。我們要如何前進？答案就掌握在我們自己的手中。所以，獎并不是我們最終的目標，而是我們前進路途中的一股動力。我們應正確看待這種獎勵和榮譽。不能因為一時取得好的成績而驕傲，也不能因為成績一時不理想而氣餒。學習就如逆水行舟，不進則退。只有不斷地努力，不驕不躁，認真對待學習，不輕言放棄，看淡得失。以一顆平常心，踏實勤奮。才能取得更優異的成績，才能創造更美好的未來。當然，沒有獲得獎的同學更不能放棄。要努力起來，哪怕最終沒有成功，最起碼自己努力了，也無愧于心。
