  一、教材分析

高三《Unit 11 Key to success》說課稿

  當今世界趨勢傾向多元化,而其突出地表現在個人的創造思維和群體間的合作精神。為此,在中學階段培養學生的合作意識,創造思維就顯得尤其重要。本單元的中心話題是“成功的關鍵”內容涉及個性特征、個人品質、團隊精神、成功之路、社會行為和社會關系等,語言技能和語言知識都是圍繞這一中心話題設計的。通過本單元教學,學生了解了走向成功的諸多要素,明白團隊精神在集體活動中發揮的重要作用。

  1、Warming up 部分通過對一系列問題的討論來確定自己屬于哪一種人,具有怎樣的品德和個性。目的是讓學生學會談論社會行為和社會關系。

  2、Listening部分通過對三個問題的小組討論來了解學生業余時間的安排。讓學生通過對兼職工作的'討論初步了解團隊精神。

  3、Speaking部分首先向我們闡述了具有誠實,負責、可信這些品德給我們帶來的益處,接著通過三個情境來對學生進行檢測。

  4、Reading部分是一篇關于團隊工作的文章。通過閱讀,讓學生理解團隊精神的重要性,知道一個團隊應如何良好運轉。

  5、Language practice部分設計了系列練習,讓學生在練習中鞏固本單元所學習的重要單詞和短語。

  6、Integrating skills 部分講述了李永紅奮斗的經歷,是讓學生在閱讀中理解成功的真正含義并讓學生意識到每個人的成功之路是不同的,每個人都應選擇適合自己的成功之路。

  7、Writing部分是對李永紅現象的反思。要求學生以書信的形式就李永紅的選擇發表看法。寫一篇書信。

  二、 教學重點和難點

  (一)重點

  1. 話題:Talking about social behavior and social relations.

  2. 功能:Expressing decisions and opinions. 3. 詞匯:(見教學重點)

  (二)語言技能

  1. 說:要求學生根據三個情景復習表達意圖和決定的句型,進行討論。

  2. 讀:要求學生理清文章的脈絡和主要觀點,繼續訓練各種閱讀技能。

  3. 寫:通過本單元的學習,要求學生用書信的形式,表達對人生選擇和成功的看法。

  (三)情感目標

  1. 通過閱讀Teamwork這篇文章,幫助學生樹立合作意識。

  2. 通過學習和討論何謂成功的話題,幫助學生形成對成功的科學看法,從而樹立正確的人生觀、價值觀和世界觀。

  Step1. Greetings and lead-in

  T: I’m sure all of you know the story about Three Buddist Monks, right?

  T: Now. let’s see the story.

  Screen:

  Step2 Pre-reading

  T: Now can you give me some examples about situations in our daily life where we must co-operate to accomplish some particular tasks.

  Ⅱ. Show the following form on the screen. Ask the students to divide the text into several parts and try to summarize the main idea of each part. A few minutes later, ask several students to give their answers.

Working in teams at school is a preparation for our future. To make the team function well, all team members should help, respect and support each other and be clear about their roles. On the other hand, it is important to know every member’s strengths and shortcomings, because different personalities and abilities can fit different requirements in the society and can help us avoid embarrassing other team members. In this way, we can make the best of working with team members.

  Step 8 Homework

  Look on your class as a team, and write a passage to show how to make teamwork function well to make your class strong and make great progress.
