申請流程辦理外國簽證，無論是中國人辦理外國簽證，還是外國人辦理其他國家簽證，無論采取哪一種方式，是委托代辦，還是自己直接辦理，一般需要經(jīng)過下列幾個程序：

　　(1)遞交有效的護(hù)照。

　　(2)遞交與申請事由相關(guān)的各種證件，例如有關(guān)自己出生、婚姻狀況、學(xué)歷、工作經(jīng)歷等的證明。

　　(3)填寫并遞交簽證申請表格。簽證不同，表格也不同，多數(shù)要用外文填寫、同時提供本人照片。

　　(4)前往國駐該國大使館或領(lǐng)事館官員會見。有的國家規(guī)定，凡移民申請者必須面談后，才能決定;也有的國家規(guī)定，申請非移民簽證也必須面談。

　　(5)大使館或者領(lǐng)事館，將填妥的各種簽證申請表格和必要的證明材料，呈報國內(nèi)主管部屬門審查批準(zhǔn)。有少數(shù)國家的使領(lǐng)館有權(quán)直接發(fā)給簽證，但仍須轉(zhuǎn)報國內(nèi)備案。

　　(6)前往國家的主管部門進(jìn)行必要的審核后，將審批意見通知駐該國使領(lǐng)館。如果同意，即發(fā)給簽證。如果拒絕，也會通知申請者。(對于拒簽，使領(lǐng)館方面也是不退簽證費(fèi)的)

　　(7)繳納簽證費(fèi)用。一般來說，遞交簽證申請的時候就要先繳納費(fèi)用，也有個別國家是簽證申請成功的時候才收取費(fèi)用。一般而言，移民簽證費(fèi)用略高，非移民簽證費(fèi)用略低。也有些國家和地區(qū)的簽證是免費(fèi)的。
