C Using ‘while’ and ‘a(chǎn)s’. 運用while和as.

while和as是時間連詞,“當……時候”; 表示事情(動作)同時發(fā)生。

※當連接同時發(fā)生的兩個長動作時，常用while。

e.g. While Millie was watching TV, Eddie was sleeping.

※當連接同時發(fā)生的一長一短兩個動作時，用while或as引導(dǎo)時間較長的動作。這個長動作在時間較短的動作發(fā)生之前就已開始。

e.g. While Eddie was sleeping, Hobo went to watch TV.

As mother was cooking, Mary went back.

※當連接同時發(fā)生的兩個短動作時，常用as。

e.g. As you see him, give him this letter.

※注意： while和as引導(dǎo)的狀語從句在時態(tài)上必須和主句保持一致。

D Comparatives and superlatives (of adverbs) 副詞的比較級和最高級

副詞的比較級和最高級與形容詞的比較級及最高級的構(gòu)成方法相同，即單音節(jié)和部分雙音節(jié)副詞在詞尾加“er”、加“est”構(gòu)成比較級和最高級；多音節(jié)副詞在副詞之前加more和most 構(gòu)成比較級和最高級；以后綴ly結(jié)尾的副詞要用more和most。

e.g. fast – faster – fastest

early – earlier – earliest

late – later – latest

beautifully – more beautifully – most beautifully

slowly – more slowly – most slowly

quickly – more quickly – most quickly

另外還有不規(guī)則副詞的比較級和最高級：

e.g. well – better – best

badly – worse – worst

much – more – most

little – less – least

far – farther – farthest

e.g. Sandy runs faster than Amy.

1. She is more interested in watching programmes about animals. 她對觀看動物節(jié)目更感興趣。

be more interested in doing sth. 對做某事更感興趣。

2. Usually, she spends about two hours every day watching TV. 通常她每天花大約2小時的時間看電視。

3. He finds programmes about sports boring. 他發(fā)現(xiàn)體育節(jié)目無聊。

這是賓補結(jié)構(gòu)的句子， find sth + adj.做賓補

e.g. I find English difficult.

argue with sb. about sth. 為某事與某人爭論/爭吵
