2. 情態動詞can

can是情態動詞，表示“能，會”。沒有人稱和數的變化。其后跟動詞原形。

（1）can用于陳述句，表示能干，有能力做某事。

I can throw the shot put.

He can play basketball.

（2）后加not構成否定形式，可縮寫成can’t或cannot。

I can’t swim.

She can’t climb a rope.

（3）can放在句首，構成一般疑問句，詢問別人是否可以干某事，也表示請求對方允許。

Can you play tennis? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.

Can I use your bike?

3. I love basketball, I also like track and field events. 我喜歡籃球，也喜歡田徑。

also表示“也”，一般用于肯定句。

I like English, I also like math.

What about…? 用于提出建議，后跟名詞或動詞的-ing形式。

5. 不定代詞all, most, some, a few, none

all 全部, most 大多數, some 一些, a few 少數, none 沒有人。這些詞與of連用，可用于一個有限定詞的名詞前，或人稱代詞前，而且要與代詞的賓格連用。
