（二）重點句型及使用 ( Key Sentence) ：
1. May I … ? 與 Can I …? 都是向他人提出請求的交際用語。
但是May I … ? 的語氣會更加委婉。

2. Hold on a second.
second 有多個含義：（1）第二 （2）秒 （3）片刻
second 在本句的意思就是“片刻”。
3. would like to do sth. = would love to do sth. 意思是想要去做某事。
I would like to be a teacher. 我想成為一名老師。
I would love to see this film. 我想看這部電影。

現在進行時態表示將來。

（三）語法小提示：
“need”雙重角色的用法及其區別
“need”既可以作情態動詞，也可以作實義動詞，但是它們的用法不同。
作為情態動詞的“need”的用法與其他情態動詞“can”，“may”，“must”的用法基本相同：下面是“need”作為情態動詞的用法：
1. need表示“需要”或“必須”，通常用于否定句和疑問句。例如：
（1）You needn't do it again．你不需要再做了。
（2）He needn't worry about it．這件事他無需擔心。
（3）Need he do this homework first？他需要先做這些作業嗎？
2. “need”作為實義動詞時，通常用法是：
人＋need ＋to do
物＋need ＋doing
need＋名詞。
（1）We need to have lunch．我們需要吃午飯了。
（2）We need to tell him the truth．我們需要告訴他真相。
（3）The flowers need watering．這些花需要澆水。
（4）Her room needs cleaning．她的房間需要打掃。
