4. arrive at 到達（小地方）arrive in 到達（大地方）=get to /reach

5. be made of 由……做成的（能看出原料）
The table is made of stone.
be made from 由……做成的 （不能看出原料）
This kind of paper is made from bamboo.
6. get on/off …上/下（汽車）
He got off the bus and took a taxi.
get into/out of…上/下（小汽車）
I saw him get into a red car.
7. all over the world/ the country/…全世界/全國……
We have friends all over the world.
Mr. Bruce decided to travel all over China.
8. sick /ill 病的 作前置定語時一般只用sick
The doctor treated the sick boy carefully.
He felt sick/ill in the stomach.
9. join加入（組織，團體，某人）/ join in 參加（活動）
His brother joined the army last year.

Would you like to join us in the dancing?
10. from one place to another= from place to place從一個地方到另一地方

11. 并列連詞and 、but、or的用法
and連接相似的內容，but連接相反的內容，or連接供選擇的內容。
It’s Sunday and we needn’t go to school.
He is very thin but he is strong.
We can play football or basketball on Friday afternoon.
12. 動詞不定式作賓語
動詞不定式由to+動詞原形構成， 在句中可作狀語、定語、主語、賓語、表語、賓語補足語等。這里我們只講作賓語的用法，常見的動詞有：
agree, choose, decide, plan, hope, learn, want, begin, start, forget, remember, prepare等。
She chose to stay at home while we planned to make a trip to Hainan.
13. 反身代詞 myself yourself himself herself itself ourselves yourselves themselves, 可以作表語、賓語、同位語，但不能作主語。
Help yourself to some fish.
Don’t leave him by himself.
I can do it myself.= I myself can do it.
We enjoyed ourselves at the party yesterday.
