interesting interested
interesting是形容詞，意思是“令人感興趣的”，一般指人、物本身是有趣的。
如：Playing basketball is very interesting.
打籃球很有趣。
interested是形容詞。一般指人對某物感興趣，固定詞組為be interested in...對……感興趣。
如：This book is so interesting that everyone is interested in it.
這本書是如此的有趣以至于每個人都對它感興趣。
拓展：在英語中，有兩大類動詞構(gòu)成的形容詞，一類是v-ing型的形容詞，另一類是v-ed型的形容詞，常見的有：

surprising令人吃驚的 surprised感到吃驚的
amazing令人驚異的 amazed感到驚奇的

find out了解、查出，表示經(jīng)過一番努力調(diào)查了解了某事，后面常接賓語從句。
如：Please find out what time they are coming.
請查一下他們什么時候來。
The policemen found out who stole the stamps.
警察們查出誰偷走了郵票。

春天它回到淡水的小溪里產(chǎn)卵。
return動詞。①返回，回到come back；②歸還give back。
如：He returned to Beijing last Sunday.
上個星期天他返回到北京。
Please return the book to me tomorrow.
請明天把書歸還給我。
6. So the butterfly is losing its home.
因此，蝴蝶正失去它的家園。
lose丟失，過去式lost。
The little girl lost her way in the street.

①think about意為考慮、思考，與think of同義。
如：I’m thinking about/ of where to spend my holiday.
我正在考慮到哪里去度假。
②think of作想起、認(rèn)為時與think about不同。
如：She often thinks of her old friends.
她經(jīng)常想起她的老朋友。
③think over意為仔細考慮、思考。over為副詞、代詞應(yīng)放在其前。
如：I thought it over last Sunday.
上個星期天我仔細考慮那件事。
Let me think over this difficult problem.
讓我仔細思考這道難題。
2. The plants stay green longer there.
在那里，植物保持綠色的時間更長。
stay表示繼續(xù)保持某種狀態(tài)，后接形容詞做表語。
如：The shop stays open till 12 o’clock.
這家商店到12點才打烊。
We must stay happy.
我們必須保持快樂。
3. In this area, there is very little rain.
這個地區(qū)幾乎沒有雨。
few a few little a little
①few與可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)連用，表示否定。意思“很少，幾乎沒有”
如：He is a man of few words.
他是個沉默寡言的人。
He knows few friends here.
他在這里幾乎不認(rèn)識朋友。
②little與不可數(shù)名詞連用，表示否定，意思“很少，幾乎沒有”
There is little water in the glass.
杯子里幾乎沒有水了。
I have little interest in politics.
我對政治沒有什么興趣。
③a few, a little表示肯定，一些，有some意思接近，但a few修飾可數(shù)名詞，a little修飾不可數(shù)名詞。
There are a few eggs, a little bread in the fridge.
冰箱里有一些雞蛋，一些面包。

He often sleeps with the windows open.
他經(jīng)常開著窗戶睡覺。
形容詞的比較級可以被even“更”much“……得多”等副詞修飾。much, a lot, a little, even, still表示比較的程度。
如：It was cold yesterday, but it is even colder today.
昨天很冷，今天更冷。
This book is much more interesting than that one.
這本書比那本書要有趣多了。

注意：hundred, thousand前加基數(shù)詞時，不加s，不用復(fù)數(shù)形式。thousands of成千上萬的，hundreds of成百上千的
注意與介詞of連用時，hundred, thousand要用復(fù)數(shù)形式。

每年成千上萬的外國人來到中國。

without介詞“沒有”，反義詞with
