Section A

1. I saw you play basketball almost every day during the summer holidays.

我看見你暑假期間幾乎每天都打籃球。

see sb. do sth. 看見某人做某事，這個做某事是經常性、習慣性、事實性動作，要用動詞原形，也就是省略to的不定式，如：

I see you go to school early every morning.

我看見你每天早晨上學很早。

see sb. doing sth. 看見某人正在做某事，doing強調的動作正在做。

His father saw him sitting on some eggs.

他的父親看見他正坐在一些雞蛋上。

拓展：

英語中主要有兩類動詞用動詞不定式作賓補時，動詞不定式不帶to。

（1）感官動詞：see，hear，feel，watch，listen to，look at等。

如：I heard you say so. 我聽你這樣說的。

（2）使役動詞：have，let，make等。如：

Let me help you. 讓我幫助你。

It makes me smile. 它使我笑起來。

2. Will you come and cheer us on?

你要來為我們喝彩嗎？

cheer sb. on 激勵某人，為……喝彩，向……歡呼

如：I’ll cheer you on.

3. Which sport do you prefer, skating or skiing?

滑冰與滑雪你更喜歡哪一種運動？

這是一個選擇疑問句中的特殊疑問句，這種句式結構是：

前面是一個特殊疑問句，后面是由“or”連接的單詞或短語。

Which book is yours, this one or that one?

哪本書是你的，這本還是那本？

4. I prefer skating. 我更喜歡滑冰。

prefer doing sth. 更喜歡，寧愿做某事

如：We prefer listening to music. 我們更喜歡聽音樂。

prefer ... to ... 比起……更喜歡……

如：She prefers fish to meat. 比起肉她更喜歡魚。

5. We’re planning to have a skating club.

我們正計劃著成立一個滑冰俱樂部。

plan to do sth. 計劃做某事

如：They are planning to go to Beijing. 他們正計劃去北京。

6. Will you join us? 你將加入到我們中來嗎？

join sb. 加入到某些人當中

如：Why don’t you join us? 為什么你不加入到我們中來呢？

拓展：

join the party 入黨

join the army 參軍

join與take part in的區別

（1）take part in 指參加某種活動。

（2）join加入某個團體成為其中一員。

如： I want to take part in the high jump. 我想參加跳高。

Do you want to join the basketball team? 你想參加籃球隊嗎？

Section B

1. What else do you know about him / her? 你知道關于他/她別的什么事嗎？

else “別的，其他的”，放在被修飾詞的后面，可以與疑問詞連用。如：who else 別的什么人，where else 別的什么地方，when else 別的什么時候。

else還可以與不定代詞連用，如：something else 別的什么事，somebody else 別的什么人。

如： Who else do you know here? 在這兒你還認識誰？

What else can you see? 你能看見別的什么東西？

Do you know anybody else in the room? 在房間里你還認識其他人嗎？

拓展：

else 與 other：

（1）else是副詞，意思是“別的，另外的”，修飾不定代詞、疑問代詞、副詞時置于這些詞后。如：

We must ask somebody else to do it.

我們必須叫其他人去做。

What else can you see in the picture?

圖片里你能看見其他什么東西嗎？

（2）other作形容詞時，意思是“其他的，另一方的”置于名詞的前面。

What other things can you see? 你能看見別的什么？

2. The team will play against China’s National Team.

這個隊將與中國國家隊比賽。

play against ... 跟……比賽

如：Would you like to play against us?

你想和我們比賽嗎？

3. It’s too bad that they won’t stay in Beijing for long.

很遺憾他們不能在北京呆很久。

It’s too bad that ... 很遺憾……，這是一個含主語從句的復合句。其中that they won’t stay in Beijing for long 是主語從句。如：

It’s too bad that I can’t help you. 很遺憾我不能幫助你。

It’s too bad that they won’t come here. 非常遺憾他們不來這里。

4. They are leaving for Japan the day after tomorrow.

他們后天將離開去日本。

leave for ... 離開去某地，for 接地點名詞，指要去的地方而不是離開的地方。

Are you leaving for Shanghai tomorrow?

你明天將離開去上海嗎？

另外，如果想表達離開某地去某地可以說leave 某地 for 某地。如：

我將離開北京去上海。 I’m leaving Beijing for Shanghai.

Section C

1. She spends at least half an hour in the gym every day.

她每天在體操房花費至少半個小時。

拓展：

spend，pay，cost，take（花費）

這四個詞都有“花費”之意，但take只表“花時間”，spend既可表“花時間”也可表“花錢”，而pay和cost只表“花錢”，它們的搭配形式分別為：

（1）Sb. pay ... for ... 某人買某物花了……錢。

（3）Sth. cost (sb.) money. 某物花了某人多少錢。

（4）It takes sb. time to do sth.. 做某事花了某人多少時間。

如：買這件毛衣花了我100元錢。

①I paid 100 yuan for this sweater.

③This sweater cost me 100 yuan.

我花了1個小時做完了家庭作業。

It took me an hour to finish my homework.

2. They are sure that she will win. 他們確信她會贏。

be sure that ... 確信……

如：我們確信我們能做好。

We are sure that we can do it well.

3. It’s a good way to keep fit.

它是一種保持健康的好方法。

way有“道路”之意，the way to + 地點，表示通向某地的路。此句中是其引申意義“方法，途徑”，介詞仍然用“to”。

fit強調身體健壯，尤其指人通過經常鍛煉而獲得的健康。

fit還有合適的意思。

如：The pants fit me well. 這條褲子很合我身。

4. How long will you play? 你將打（乒乓球）多長時間？

How long 表示多久，多長時間

如：How long did he stay at home? 他在家呆了多長時間？

拓展：

（1）how often：多長時間一次，表示頻率

How often do you play basketball? - Once a week.

你多長時間打一次籃球？ --一周一次。

（2）how many +可數名詞 多少……

How many people are there in your family?

你家有幾口人？

（3）how much + 不可數名詞 多少……

How much meat do you want? 你想要多少肉？

（4）how old 多大（歲數）

How old is the boy? 這個男孩多大了？

（5）how much 多少錢

How much is the fish? 魚多少錢？

（6）how tall 多高（人，樹）

how far 多遠（距離）

how high 多高（山、樓）

how deep 多深（深度）

Grammar Focus

一般將來時

（1）一般將來時由助動詞will + 動詞原形構成，在英國英語中當主語為第一人稱I或we時，可用shall加動詞原形構成一般將來時，即shall + 動詞原形。

如：I shall be free tomorrow. 明天我有空。

（2）一般將來時表示將要發生的動作或狀態，往往和表示將來時間的狀語連用。如：tomorrow 明天，the day after tomorrow 后天，next week 下星期。

（3）一般將來時的否定形式是在助動詞will后加not，一般疑問句形式是把助動詞will提到主語之前。

如：They will not / won’t stay in Beijing for long.

Will they stay in Beijing?

Yes, they will.

No, they won’t.
