“used to+動詞原形”表示過去常常干某事,現(xiàn)在不在干了。只有一種形式,即過去式。 例如:I used to go to work by bus. Now I take a taxi.

So the sentence “I used to be afraid of the dark.” means in Chinese:

我過去常害怕黑暗。

2.“used to”的疑問形式和否定形式:

-Did you use to be afraid of the dark?

-Yes, I used to be afraid of the dark.

-Did he use to be afraid of the dark?

-No, he did not use to be afraid of the dark.

1.be like 與 look like : 兩者意思接近,都是詢問某人怎么樣,但 be like 側重于問某人的性 格品質等。如:honest (誠實的)、shy(害羞的)等。而look like側重于詢問人的外貌特征。句型:What +be +sb +like ?(某人是個什么樣的人?)

2.What+do/does+sb + look like ?(某人長得什么樣子?)。其中的like是介詞,“像……一樣。”

附在陳述句后面對陳述的事實提出相反的句子叫反意疑問句。反意疑問句由兩部分組成, 前一部分是陳述句, 后一部分是簡略問句.

1. 基本結構:前肯后否; 前否后肯

(1)疑問部分的主語必須和陳述部分的主語一致,疑問部分的主語一定用代詞。

(2) 疑問部分必須和陳述部分的時態(tài)一致。
