　　Teaching Objectives:

　　Teaching Procedures:

　　I. Showing the teaching aims

　　II. Revision

　　1.Check homework

　　2. Retell the story in Lesson58.

　　III. Leading in

　　Ask who dislike animals? What kinds of animal do you dislike? Why?

　　If someone says he dislikes dogs or is afraid of dogs because a dog may bite a man.

　　Ask them, some animals maybe like to bite unfamiliar persons. So what should we do?

　　Show the Ss an injector. Write the word injection on the Bb.

　　Ask : Do you like injection?

　　IV. Presentation

　　Tell the students that we’ll learn a dialogue about a child’s doctor. First, ask the students to use the following dialogue in Exercise I to help them. Then work in pairs.

　　V. Free Practice

　　Suppose your friend is a doctor for. . . . Interview her or him about her or his job. Use the dialogue in Lesson 59 to help you, make up a new dialogue, work in pairs, then do Exercise 1.

　　VI. Practice

　　Part 2. Look at the picture. Say something about it. For example:

　　To be a doctor is very interesting.

　　To be a sick man is very painful.

　　To do as the doctor tells you is important.

　　Change these sentences beginning with: It’s + adj. + to do something. Go through Exercise 2, ask the students to finish changing these sentences.

　　2. It’s good for the dog to take a walk every day.

　　3. It’s very important to keep the dog clean.
