教學目標

1.詞匯

A.單詞

四會quarter,minutes,half,finish,park,live,zoo,animal,dog,hear, boat,chicken,

三會:tiger,elephant,monkey,panda,inside,

B.詞組/句型:

-a quarter past/to six ten minutes past/to

-half past a little earlier/later

-have a good time be good at boating

-all the time a baby panda

May I come then? What time shall I come? Work must come first! I have quite a lot of homework to do.

Shall we go to the park? When/Where shall we meet?

Let’s make it half past one.

I don’t think chickens can swim.

2.日常用語:

-Would you like to come to supper?-I would love to!

Which animal do you like best?

I hear one of them has a baby.

I have no idea.

3.語法:

1．Making suggestions 提建議的方法

Using shall -Shall we go at ten? -Good idea!

Using let’s -Let’s go at ten! -OK!

Using Why not…? –Why not go at ten? -All right!

2.Time-telling 時間的說法

半點及之前用past,意思是“幾點過幾分”:

half past ten 10點半 a quarter past two兩點一刻

半點之后用to，意思是“差幾分幾點”:

twenty to twelve 差20 分鐘12點

　

教學重點難點:

1. Like與would like

Like與動詞的搭配有兩種：like to do /like doing 這兩者在使用是區別

不大，都表示“喜歡做某事”如：

She likes swimming. /She likes to swim. 她喜歡游泳。

Would like 只有一種搭配：would like to 意思是“想要”，與want to 比較接近。如：

I would like a new dress for the party.

I want a new dress for the party.

我想要一件新的連衣裙來參加晚會。

Would you like to…? 表邀請，回答是無論是否， 通常要說：Thank you, I’d love to. 如要拒絕，也不要說No, 以免顯得太不禮貌，應繼續說：but ….來講明理由

-Would you like to come to my house on National Day?

-Thank you, I’d love to. But I have to see my uncle on that day.

你國慶節來我家好嗎?

謝謝你，我很愿意，但是我那天得去看我的叔叔。

Like的另一種詞性是介詞，“象”， 如look like 看上去象。

2. Let’s make it a little earlier/half past one.

這里的make 不能理解為“制作”, 應是“定為”的意思。it指代時間。所以上面兩句話應翻譯為：讓我們把時間定得早一點/讓我們把時間定為一點半。

3. I think 的否定

I think 后面接賓語從句時， 從句中不能出現否定。如有否定意思，則在前面否定 I think… 變為 I don’t think….

I think the panda lives only in China. 我認為熊貓只生活在中國。

I don’t think chickens can swim. 我覺得雞不會游泳。

He doesn’t think English is hard to learn. 他覺得英語不難學。

4. 提建議的三種方式

　

shall 通常用于第一人稱，Shall I …?/Shall we…?

let’s =let us “讓我們…”

Why not…? =Why don’t you…? 你為什么不…?

三種句型中動詞都是原形。

試比較: What about…?句型。 about是介詞，所以后面接名詞或動名詞。

例：現在回家怎么樣？

What about going home now?

Shall we go home now?

Let’s go home now.

Why not go home now?

let’s 句型中，反問用 shall we? 如：

Let’s go to the park this afternoon, shall we?

我們今天下午去公園，好不好？

shall 還可以表示第一人稱的將來時。如：

When shall we meet? 我們什么時候見面？

We shall never forget it. 我們永遠都不該忘記它。

I shall look after my brother next Sunday. 下周日我將照看弟弟。

5.quarter

quarter 本意是四分之一，指時間時，為一小時的四分之一，所以是一刻鐘。二分之一是half; 四分之三是 three quarters

　

6.表示一類事物的名詞

名詞在表示一類事物時，可以有三種方法。可數名詞單數前加a或the , 可數名詞復數，不可數名詞本身或加the .如：

可數名詞： a tiger /tigers /the tiger

不可數名詞：water/the water

7．hear

hear與listen to 都是“聽”的意思，hear 是聽的結果，listen to 是聽的動作。如：

The students are listening to the teacher. 學生們在聽老師講話。

We can hear the music. 我們能聽到音樂聲。

此外，hear 還可作“聽說”講，后面加從句。如： I hear one of them has a baby. 我聽說它們中的一個生了個小寶寶。（課文）

I hear we are going to have an exam.我聽說我們要考試了。

4.閱讀理解

OUR NEW SECRETARY（秘書）

The telephone rings and our new secretary, Miss Simpson, answers it.

“May I speak to Mr. Calder, please?” a man says.

“who is speaking please?” Miss Simpson answers.

“it’s Alan Bright,” the man answers.

Miss Simpson puts her hand over the telephone and says to Mr.Calder.

“It’s Mr.Alan Bright, sir,”she says.”He wants to speak to you.”

“What, again!” Mr. Calder shouts.

“Say that I’m not in my office,” Mr.Calder says angrily.

Miss Simpson speaks into the receiver（電話聽筒）, “Mr.Bright,” she says. “I’m sorry you can’t speak to Mr. Calder now. He says he’s not in his office.”

Questions:

1. Who answers the telephone?

2. Who is calling?

3. Does Mr.Calder want to answer the phone? How do you know?

4. Is Mr. Calder happy or angry?

賓語;get to 后面加名詞性賓語.若后面加副詞則不用to.

He reaches/gets to school at seven every day.

他每天7點鐘到校.

We reach/get home at the same time every day.

我們每天在同一個時間到家.(注意:home在這里是副詞)

此外, 還有“夠”的意思.如課文中:

I can't reach them.我夠不著它們.

Some of the apples are hard to reach.

有一些蘋果很難夠到.

　

4.high 和tall

這二者都指垂直方向“高”.high 還可指在較高的地方發現某物或把某物放在較高的地方.如:

a tall boy 一個高男孩 a tall tree 一棵高(大)樹

a high mountain 一座高山

The kite is flying high.風箏飛得很高.

　

5.形容詞比較級需要注意的兩個問題

A.than

than后面可接名詞,名詞性物主代詞,賓格人稱代詞,主格人稱代詞,動名詞以及句子.

Pears are cheaper than apples.梨比蘋果便宜.(名詞)

Mine are better than yours.我的比你的好.(名次性物主代詞)(課文)

You have more than me.你的比我的多.(賓格人稱代詞)(課文)

She is younger than I.她比我年輕.(主格人稱代詞)

I like swimming better than running.跑步和游泳相比我更喜歡游泳.(動名詞)

Lily runs faster than I do.Lily比我跑得快.(句子)

B.表示程度的可用much 和a little 來修飾,如

They are much bigger.他們大的多.(課文)

Lesson Three is much easier than Lesson Four.

第三課比第四課容易多了.
