He came to Chongqing and shaved his head, hiding himself in a temple here. By coincidence, there were four big words "Longyin Buddhist Temple" on the wall, so the town was given the name Longyin.

　　Ciqikou is also a source of BaCi culture. Many famous people lived here during the Second Sino-Japanese War, including the poet Guo Moruo and the Nobel Prize-winning scientist Samuel Chao Chung Ting.
